Story
Ooo ooh! Pick me! Pick me! My name is Maddy and I was dumped at at high kill shelter. I was super sick (antibiotics cleared me right up!) and I was all skin and bones. Angels at AWFA rescued me in the nick of time and I am ready to find my forever family! I am such a good girl - A loving, beautiful, sweet blonde bombshell who loves everyone I meet.  I'm good with some other dogs but would love to be an only dog to get all of the attention.  I like kids but would probably do best in an adult home.  I am house trained! I'm a quiet girl but will alert you if needed. I am looking for my furever family to snuggle and cuddle and love. Is that you?! ***************************************************************    Interested in adopting this pet? Story
Meet Rocky! He's a sweet 8.5 year old Korean Jindo mix who loves attention. He loves to cuddle and be with his people. He's smart and food motivated to learn new things. His current foster puts him a sit/stay while he places his food down and then releases him to eat, which he does very well. He's also potty trained. When you talk to him he'll give you this funny look like he's trying to understand. He is ok around other dogs, until he gets impatient with them. This is very common for Jindos. He would do best in a house without other animals. His healthy recently took a turn and he can only use his back legs 5% of the time. He has seen a primary Vet, a Chiro, an internist and an Neuro and they're not sure of the cause. He is still very cognitive and fully aware of everything around him, his back legs just do not want to cooperate. He has a wheel chair which he is learning to use. He's hoping his forever home is out there to help him navigate his remaining years. He can't wait to find his forever home. Meet Rocky! He's a sweet 8.5 year old Korean Jindo mix who loves attention. Story
How this pet arrived: Honey was brought in by her previous owner on July 11, 2024 Why this pet is the one for you:Introducing the delightful Honey! This precious girl is the epitome of sweetness - her name says it all! At first glance, Honey might seem a tad bashful, but give her a moment to warm up, and she'll be wagging her tail and stealing your heart faster than you can say "fetch"! With a gentle touch and a sprinkle of patience, she'll be rolling over for belly rubs like a pro. Honey is just buzzing with excitement to find a new home, and she promises to fill it with endless cuddles and tail wags. Honey has been reactive towards dogs, is not a fan of cats, and will do best in a home without young children due to her excitable behavior. She also has a fractured tooth that needs extracting. If you're interested in giving this pup the loving home she deserves, grab a leash and collar and head to our Oceanside Campus today. Honey is ready to make your life sweeter than ever before! Dog Reactive Dog:  Honey requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her. Primary Color: Tan Weight: 59.375 Age: 2yrs 2mths 1wks
