Story
Huchu is still waiting for his furever home! He's is a Jindo mix neutered boy, about 2-3 years old and 22kg. Huchu loves all people, including kids. He shows his affection by asking for pets and belly rubs and lots of tail wagging. He also loves other dogs and is a great playmate for them. He is a little too interested in cats, so needs a home with no feline friends. Huchu is a high energy boy. He would be a great running buddy. His leash manners are good, but he is still very curious about the world. He's not crate trained, but will stay well. He is housebroken. He has no aggression or possessiveness towards food or toys. Huchu is not a flight risk. He only barks when someone enters the home but settles down. Huchu was found on the street and sent to a kill shelter. Could this playful, loving and affectionate boy be the right fit for your home? Story
Juju's owner has passed away and she needs a new homeShe's currently in Nanaimo, BC *** She’s currently taking Methimazole for thyroid neoplasia, over 85% chance it is malignant. Please donate to our GoFundMe for her Thyroid Neoplasia Treatmenthttps://gofund.me/2caa80e5 She's a Jindo mix spayed girl, about 9 years old and 13 kg Juju likes people, and will follow you well once she gets to know you. She will need time because she can feel awkward to meet strangers in unfamiliar environments. She has good walking manners, but is sometimes afraid of cats or birds. Juju is gentle and quiet, and hardly barks in vain. She plays well alone with her toy ball. As she doesn’t know how to hang out with other dog friends, she needs some time to get along with other dogs. No other dogs or cats in the home will be ideal. She really doesn’t like it if someone suddenly touches her tail, privates, paws or her side. She eats dog food well and is ok self-feeding. Her favourite snack is chicken breast, dried duck wings and dried pollack. Ready to meet Juju? Story
Mieu is ready to meet her forever familyShe is currently being fostered in Nanaimo, BC. Mieu is a two year old Jindo mix who had a rough start at life. When she was rescued, she was suffering from skin issues, but now she is all healed and looks better than ever! This sweet girl is a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs. She loves to play and is very happy when she's surrounded by all her doggy friends! She has a low-medium energy level, quiet at home and more energetic when with other dogs. She can be shy with new people, but will approach when she's ready and will sniff and lick your hands. She becomes a very sweet and affectionate girl once she's comfortable. She likes to be petted by people she knows, and doesn't like being touched by strangers. Mieu can probably be okay with children too as long as they can wait for her to approach first and are gentle. She has no aggression, but can be spooked by sudden movement or if she feels like someone will grab her. Mieu is leash trained, but will be very cautious/hesitant when she's in a new place. She is also crate trained and potty trained. She is not much of a barker, is not seen to have a prey drive, no destructive behaviours, and has no resource guarding. Mieu is not a flight risk once she is comfortable in her home. Lots of patience and love will go a long way with this sweet girl. Mieu was rescued from the Wanju meat farm last Summer View more photos and videos on Facebook: Link to Post ##2253462##

Miko is still on the search for his furever homeHe's currently in Nanaimo, BC Miko is a neutered Jindo mix boy, about 2½ years old, and 28 kg He’s good and gentle with people and dogs and doesn’t chase cats. He tends to be scared of loud noises and sudden touches/movements. He's gentle and friendly enough with kids but wouldn't recommend a home with small kids due to his food-guarding issue. He will be good with an experienced adult-only household. Miko has a medium-to-high energy level and is leash/crate/house-trained. He's not a barker. He loves long walks/runs and gets along with other dogs well. Miko was found living outside with a short chain. Story
Meet Mori, a 2-year-old neutered male Jindo mix with a stunning white coat, weighing 18 kg.One of Wanju Meat farm survivors, Mori is a sweet and gentle soul who’s eager to find his forever family. Mori is wonderfully friendly, even with strangers. Offer him a treat, and he’ll happily take it, quickly warming up to you with tail wags and affectionate licks on your hand. He’s also known for giving kisses to those he feels close to. Mori is incredibly docile and enjoys being petted—he’s the kind of dog you can cuddle, pick up, and snuggle without any fuss. He’s a model of kindness, with zero signs of aggression. Mori is just as sociable with other dogs. He eagerly approaches both familiar and unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play, regardless of their size. He’s great at getting along with energetic companions and has never been involved in any doggie disputes. If anything, Mori prefers to avoid confrontation—when faced with barking or teasing, he simply runs away. Although he hasn’t been tested with cats, we’re happy to arrange a test if needed. With a moderate energy level, Mori enjoys outdoor activities but settles down nicely afterward. On walks, he’s more interested in sniffing every scent around him than in walking in a straight line. This curious nature means he sometimes pulls toward intriguing smells but will eventually follow your lead with a little encouragement. He’s still learning to focus on his human during walks as he’s often too busy exploring with his nose to respond to his name. When it comes to food, Mori might guard his meal if he’s particularly hungry, but once he’s satisfied, he’s happy to share space with others. He’s comfortable eating or enjoying treats alongside other dogs. Mori’s gentle and easygoing nature makes him a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loving, curious, and loyal friend. He’s ready to bring joy to a family that will embrace his affectionate and inquisitive personality! Does Mori sound like your paw-fect match? Story
Thank you for interested in adopting Buddy. Please know that Buddy is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, YVR etc. International adoption is not a complicated process, and we have extensive experience with it. We would be happy to explain how it works to you. Buddy is not a high-energy dog and enjoys taking slow walks, taking time to observe and sniff his surroundings. When he was a puppy, he was small and weak, and was often bullied by his siblings. This has made him nervous around other dogs, especially if they try to dominate him or have high energy levels that may annoy him. However, once he becomes friends with another dog, he gets along very well. He spent a long time in a shelter, so he lacks socialization skills, but he is gentle and friendly once he becomes comfortable with people and other dogs. Currently, he is undergoing socialization training. Buddy has not met any children yet, but he is generally calm and good with people. His foster believes that he would be calm and friendly with children as well. Buddy is nervous but remains calm when crated. He behaves well when left alone at home. He is currently undergoing leash training, and when he gets scared during walks, he leans on the person next to him for protection. Buddy is cautious when introduced to new food, often rubbing it on his body before eating it. However, after trying it one or two times, he becomes accustomed to it. Due to his lack of various experiences, he may get scared easily, but he is also good at overcoming his fears. If you're interested in adopting Buddy, please feel free to contact us for more information. Thank you.

Thank you for interested in adopting Chewy. Please know that Chewy is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Rescue story: The rescuer feeds some stray dogs far away from her home and she found a mama dog with 4 puppies. She was not able to help them but only could give them enough food to survive. One day, one of the puppies voluntarily came close to the rescuer and when she held the puppy, she found the puppy was covered by ticks and fleas and was in a very bad condition. The rescuer decided to find all of the dogs and was able to capture the mama dog and the rest 3 puppies. Chewy is very friendly with all dogs and is affectionate towards people. She likes to have close relationships with people. She loves taking walks and being outdoor. She is good on leash withouth pulling. At first, she pulled a little from being excited but now she is very good and follows the foster gently. She sometimes become stubborn at some points she wants to sniff but overall, she is very good on leash! She doesn’t have a guarding behavior and waits very well for her turn during the treat time. She is 100% outdoor potty trained and never made a mistake.

Story
**About Rita:** Thank you for interested in adopting Rita. Please know that Rita is an international rescue through South Korea. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Rita enjoys her alone time but can also be active and playful. She loves people and is affectionate and intelligent. While she can be timid initially, her curiosity allows her to get along well with other dogs. Rita is friendly and eager to greet new people. During a recent outing to a shop, she approached everyone she encountered with good manners and curiosity, making a positive impression. Both Chico and Rita may appear timid in completely new environments, but they adapt quickly and get along well. Their initial shyness doesn’t reflect sensitivity or pickiness. +Dog: She gets along well with other dogs. +Cat: She often encounters cats near the house. Rita usually watches them quietly, occasionally barks, and then quickly runs back inside. +Kids: Rita gets along very well with children (ages 10 and 18). +Housebroken: She is 100% outdoor potty-trained, going twice in the morning and once in the afternoon. On rainy days, she uses indoor pads perfectly. +Ok in kennel: She uses crates frequently especially when she goes to sleep. +Ok on leash: Rita walks well on a leash and is easy to control. She loves other dogs but can be a little shy at first, lowering her tail when approaching them. Once comfortable, she wags her tail and happily engages. Her friendliness shines through once she’s adjusted. +Barker or Separation anxiety: Rita does well alone. She only whines when she needs to go outside or if she wants to express that she needs to poop. She doesn’t bark much and is rather a quiet dog usually. +Behavioral issues (food aggression, leash reactivity, etc): Rita does not guard food, toys, or other items. She loves it when people play with her toys and patiently waits for treats when told. She knows commands like "wait" and "no," and responds well. Occasionally, she hides treats in cushions and retrieves them later. +Car rides: Rita enjoys car rides and travels well without any issues. If you’re interested in adopting Rita please don’t hesitate to contact us for more details. We’d be more than happy to help! Rita is ready for her forever sweet home. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Chico is affectionate and active but he is still a puppy that just began to learn that there are so many things he didn’t encounter yet. In doing so, he may look timid initially, but you will soon notice that he fundamentally enjoys meeting new people and being around them. He’s very gentle and has a trusting personality, making it easy to bond once trust is established. He is currently experiencing different environments and meeting various people to build confidence. Chico loves other dogs and gets along well with the one he currently lives with. When accompanied by his foster, Chico feels more confident and interacts comfortably with both people and dogs. Both Chico and Rita may appear timid in completely new environments, but they adapt quickly and get along well. Their initial shyness doesn’t reflect sensitivity or pickiness. +Dog: Chico loves other dogs and gets along well with the one he currently lives with. +Cat: He shows no particular reaction to cats he encounters on the street. +Kids: Chico hasn’t spent much time with children but shows little interest in them during walks. +Housebroken: He prefers to go potty outside but is 100% successful using pee pads indoors. +Ok in kennel: Good is a crate. He is calm and relaxed in a crate. +Ok on leash: He walks well on a leash and is easy to manage. He enjoys approaching other dogs but is learning to wait calmly. When walking off-leash, Chico often checks back and matches his pace with his foster. If the foster stops, he sits and waits patiently. +Barker or Separation anxiety: Chico is fine being left alone. He doesn’t bark or whine excessively. +Behavioral issues (food aggression, leash reactivity, etc): Chico does not guard food, treats, or toys and waits patiently for his turn. +car rides: Chico handles car rides well, even for long periods.
