Thank you for interested in adopting Buddy. Please know that Buddy is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, YVR etc. International adoption is not a complicated process, and we have extensive experience with it. We would be happy to explain how it works to you. Buddy is not a high-energy dog and enjoys taking slow walks, taking time to observe and sniff his surroundings. When he was a puppy, he was small and weak, and was often bullied by his siblings. This has made him nervous around other dogs, especially if they try to dominate him or have high energy levels that may annoy him. However, once he becomes friends with another dog, he gets along very well. He spent a long time in a shelter, so he lacks socialization skills, but he is gentle and friendly once he becomes comfortable with people and other dogs. Currently, he is undergoing socialization training. Buddy has not met any children yet, but he is generally calm and good with people. His foster believes that he would be calm and friendly with children as well. Buddy is nervous but remains calm when crated. He behaves well when left alone at home. He is currently undergoing leash training, and when he gets scared during walks, he leans on the person next to him for protection. Buddy is cautious when introduced to new food, often rubbing it on his body before eating it. However, after trying it one or two times, he becomes accustomed to it. Due to his lack of various experiences, he may get scared easily, but he is also good at overcoming his fears. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Rescue story: The rescuer feeds some stray dogs far away from her home and she found a mama dog with 4 puppies. She was not able to help them but only could give them enough food to survive. One day, one of the puppies voluntarily came close to the rescuer and when she held the puppy, she found the puppy was covered by ticks and fleas and was in a very bad condition. The rescuer decided to find all of the dogs and was able to capture the mama dog and the rest 3 puppies. Chewy is very friendly with all dogs and is affectionate towards people. She likes to have close relationships with people. She loves taking walks and being outdoor. She is good on leash withouth pulling. At first, she pulled a little from being excited but now she is very good and follows the foster gently. She sometimes become stubborn at some points she wants to sniff but overall, she is very good on leash! She doesn’t have a guarding behavior and waits very well for her turn during the treat time. She is 100% outdoor potty trained and never made a mistake.

I'm in a Toronto foster home. We accept both Canada/US applicants. Hi, my name is Yoda. I was found wandering around a golf course in the mountains. Life was tough back then. I was pregnant when I was rescued, but sadly, my little ones didn't make it. It was just me and my mom survived. 💖 Personality: I might seem a bit shy at first, but give me a chance, and you'll see how quickly I warm up to you. I love people and can even enjoy a good cuddle! I already know commands like sit, stay, and paw. So, you won't have to worry about teaching me the basics. I'm a quick learner and eager to please. 🚶 Walks and Exploring: I haven't had many adventures in the outside world, so busy roads and loud cars can be a bit overwhelming for me. I might flatten myself to the ground in unfamiliar situations. My name is Somi, and I'm a 5-year-old female Mini Jindo mix. I've had quite an adventurous journey—left wandering when my previous owner moved, but thankfully, I was rescued. I'm a sweetheart with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. Even with strangers, I'm quick to ask for pets and show off my charming side. I get along well with other dogs, always up for a friendly greeting and playtime. However, I can get a bit defensive if provoked, so a bit of caution is advisable. On our walks, I might pull a bit on the leash, but it's nothing too serious, and I'm a quick learner. I'm quite the foodie, so I tend to eat quickly, and while I might growl if another dog approaches during meals but, I don't guard my food. Whether indoors or outdoors, I'm a pro at doing my business. The only thing is, I get a bit scared in cars, so you might need to hold me close during rides. I'm not just looking for a home; I'm looking for a family to call my own. I'm Saturn, an 8-month-old Jindo mix little guy, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home. My journey started when my stray mom gave birth in a kind person's yard, and that's where I was rescued. I might take a bit of time to warm up to new faces, but once I do, get ready for some tail-wagging affection! I love being pampered and will charm my way into your heart. I get along famously with other dogs and thrive in their company. However, if another dog tries to challenge me, I might growl a bit. I just like to make sure everyone knows their place! If your home already has a canine companion, that's a bonus for me. I find comfort in the presence of other dogs. While I may not have much experience with bustling, noisy streets, I can get a bit timid and lie flat in fear. So, a quieter neighborhood would be ideal for our walks. When it comes to mealtime, I'm totally fine with people, but if other dogs approach, I might express my opinions with a little growl. After a good walk, I'm quite the chill companion. I settle down nicely, whether it's on a comfy couch or in my kennel. Speaking of kennels, I'm a well-behaved fella even when confined.
