Story
I wrote a full length note and it just erased it. She is sweet. loves to be pet and brushed . would be an excellent companion and happier being the only cat i think she is 14. born in the country and bonded with may husband as a kitten. now me since he passed last year. i am forced to move as no one allows more than 2 cats. She just had her nails cut this week. she weighed 20 lbs. It makes me sad to have to leave her but i know she would be happy if I found the right friend to love her

Story
Mephi is about 3 years old. He is a very cuddly, cute, loving, and hefty cat with a huge frame (about 2x the size of my other cat from stature alone). Although Mephi is a little shy around strangers, I don't doubt that he will find a good home. He loves to lie on top of people, the backs of chairs, and makes lots of bids for play (wadded up balls of tin foil are his favorite). The only issue you may run into is that he is a bit of a bully when it comes to food. Also, given his size, his bids for play may seem a bit aggressive to other cats, but he is very gentle with humans. I am rehoming Mephi because I am moving into a place that doesn't allow pets. I also feel like I don't give him the love and attention he deserves. He isn't up to date on his shots, but has only been an indoor cat. He would probably be good with cats who are well-socialized. He might even do well with dogs, given his size. Just be patient, as he may take some time getting used to new folks and a new home.

Story
We acquired Gouda in 2016 from the Humane Society. She was a feral cat that the Humane Society picked up. She'll be 9 years in April 2025. Gouda is a shy but loving cat once you get to know her. She struggles with young kids and with our 2nd kid on the way, we are looking for someone (preferably someone/couple with no kids) and, or, some experience with cats to adopt Gouda.
