Story
Onkey - Male DOB 4/7/2020 Domestic Short Hair - Seal Point Siamese Onkey and Ra came to FuRRR over a year ago after being surrendered from a home where they were bullied by other cats and received little socialization. While their foster provided them a safe and loving environment, her busy schedule meant they didn’t always get the dedicated attention they needed to trust humans fully. Onkey and Ra are often seen snuggled up together, and now looking for a peaceful, child-free home with no other pets where they can feel secure and continue building their confidence. As Seal Point Siamese cats, Onkey and Ra are naturally curious, intelligent, and loyal, but they can also be sensitive and reserved, especially when they haven’t had much social interaction. Onkey is an athletic, smart boy who has made great strides in learning to trust people. Once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll melt into gentle back scratches and even belly rubs. His journey toward complete socialization has been slow but steady, and he’s eager to find a home where he can continue to thrive. Ra, Onkey’s bonded brother, is a bit more shy but equally sweet. He, too, enjoys pets and belly rubs, but he needs time to feel secure around new people. These four-year-old boys are looking for an adopter who understands the sensitive nature of Siamese cats and will give them time to settle in. At first, they may hide and take time to come out for attention, but they will come out of their shells with patience and love. They have already come so far and are ready to find their forever family. Could that be you? (Their brother Tut, who is equally sweet but a little more independent, is also available for adoption separately.)
