Story
This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
We'll also keep you updated on Mulder (bonded with Scully)'s adoption status with email updates.

Story
Bonded Pair:  mom and daughter!!  Hi! I’m Sienna (female), and I’m about one year old. I’m currently living with my foster mom who graciously allowed both me and my 4 month old daughter, Samara (FCID# 1/29/2025-504), to stay with her until we find our furrrever home.  I am very attached to my baby girl so we need to be adopted together. My foster has noticed that we groom each other, sleep next to each other, and I frequently put my paw over my baby to protect her while she sleeps. Now, more about me. I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, shots, deworming, and I’ve been spayed. I am outgoing and like to explore. I also have some really cool patterns and features. For instance, my toe beans are pink and brown and they alternate in color as you can see in the photo. The vet also thinks that’s a cool feature. One of the best ways to distinguish me from my daughter is that I’m a bit bigger than her (almost 8 pounds vs 4.5 pounds), and I have white paws. That’s right - it looks like I’m wearing mittens on each paw. I also have a white line that goes straight down my nose. Pretty unique, eh? I also have luscious blue eyes. Just like my daughter, I don’t mind being held and you can frequently find me sitting on a lap after I’m done exploring a new environment. I love feathers, catnip mice, minnows, and freeze-dried chicken, and I’m fully litter box trained, like my baby Samara. I get along well with older children and other cats, when given a slow introduction. I have not been exposed to dogs. If you are looking for a loving pair to bring you joy, then Samara and I are the pair for you. Sienna and her daughter, Samara, are playing with their foster family. Submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt today: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/ .  Thank you!  (Foster: Isabella B.).March 13, 2025, 5:06 pm
