Story
No name. No care. Used for years. Forgotten in a moment—Mollie deserved better. Meet Mollie 🤍 Mollie is likely 4–5 years old. A purebred Maltese whose life is worth infinitely more than every dollar ever made off the sale of her puppies—combined. When we asked her previous owner about her life, he couldn’t remember her age. He couldn’t remember the last time she was groomed. He couldn’t even remember her name. But he could tell us how many litters she had… and how much each one sold for. This wasn’t forgetfulness. This was neglect. This was greed. And this sweet girl deserved so much better. Despite everything she’s been through, Mollie is incredibly gentle. Calm. Quiet. Learning to trust. She prefers slow movements when being picked up, but once she’s in your arms, she melts—perfectly content to sit on your lap and just be. When she arrived, her coat was so severely matted she couldn’t see and couldn’t even wag her tail. We’ve started the process of removing the mats and she’s scheduled for a full spa day with professionals. She’ll also be getting her dental and spay—because her days of being used for breeding and living in discomfort are officially over. Like Molly Weasley, she has spent her life being the heart of a family—nurturing, giving, and putting everyone else first. Molly wasn’t flashy, but she was fiercely devoted, endlessly loving, and quietly one of the strongest characters in the entire series. That’s who our Mollie is, too. Now it’s Mollie’s turn to shine. Maltese dogs often live 12–15 years, sometimes even longer with proper care. That means Mollie still has years of love, comfort, and companionship ahead of her—years she should spend being cherished, spoiled, and safe. She’s done raising babies. Now she just needs someone to choose her.
