Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR. Adoption fee: $400.00 Draco is a 5 yr old, 7 lb, male Maltese with lots of love to give to the right home. He would be fine in a home with older folks, since he loves to cuddle and snuggle! He will stand on two feet for you to pick him up and cradle him in your arms. He plays with the dogs in his foster's home but would love to get all of the attention from you. He also enjoys walks, car rides, cats, and showing affection by licking. It is important to know that Draco does have aggression issues. He will bite strangers, and he is protective of his space and may fight other dogs. He needs a home that will understand this and work with him. We thought we had found a great forever home for him, but he tried to bite the new family when they went to visit. So Draco needs to have time, a lot of time,to adjust to his new home. He may even need to be crated when visitors come to the home. Because of his behavior concerns, anyone adopting him will be asked to sign an addendum to the adoption contract regarding his aggression. Draco wears a belly band inside and goes outside for business.
