Story
Handsome boy Bandit is a 2 year old male Jack Russell Terrier possibly Papillon mix. He currently weighs about 17 lbs. but is on the thin side. We think he should gain to between 20-25 lbs. & be considered full grown. Bandit like to sit on your lap or next to you but isn't a couch potato. He's got normal energy for a Jack Russell Terrier mix. Bandit does walk on leash. If you're interested in adopting Bandit call Friends for Animals 817-326-3647 to set up a meet/greet appt. Phones are answered Noon-3 pm Tues., Thur., Fri & Sat. Please call before you visit to make sure that Bandit is available.April 8, 2026, 9:33 am

Story
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Palmer is a little guy with a big personality—about 15 lbs and 1.5 years old. His adoption fee is $300, though we’re open to adjusting that for the right home. He’s been with us for 8 months, patiently waiting for someone to see past his initial nerves and give him the loving home he deserves. Palmer doesn’t warm up right away and may bite if he feels overwhelmed, but in a calm, predictable environment, he’s made great progress.Though he was originally labeled a bite risk, we’ve seen firsthand how quickly he can adjust—it only took a couple of days for him to bond with our new kennel techs. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Palmer still shows stress around new people, so he’ll need someone who understands his boundaries and can give him space to decompress. He would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with little foot traffic. He can be picky with dogs and would likely do best as the only pet, though he’s done well with three calm, respectful dogs currently in our care.If you have a calm home and a patient heart, Palmer could be the perfect fit. Since we do not observe these animals in home settings, we cannot guarantee whether they are housebroken. Upon intake, we ensure the following:Spay/neuter proceduresMicrochippingAll vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (and treatment if necessary)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam, scheduled 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note: Adopters must live within an hour of our facility and be at least 21 years old.Do you have any questions or would you like to schedule an appointment?

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Wishbone is an adorable 1½‑year‑old boy weighing 10.5 pounds, and he’s the kind of dog who makes friends everywhere he goes. He truly doesn’t meet a stranger—his sweet, outgoing nature shines the moment he trots up to say hello. He was originally adopted from us last year but was unfortunately returned due to his adopters separating. None of this was his fault, and despite the upheaval, Wishbone has remained cheerful, affectionate, and eager to love again. Our veterinary team noted that he is in great health, and his adoption fee is $400.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Wishbone, we’d be happy to help. He’s a joyful, affectionate little dog who’s more than ready to find a forever family who will adore him. 🐾✨

Story
Rescued him and then moved from NY. Since moving from NY I have lost my job and cannot afford to take care of him. He is very intelligent, energetic, and affectionate. He loves puzzles, toys, stuffed animals, and playing fetch. Louie can master any game or command quickly. He loves going for car rides and playing in water. He would be best in a home with a fenced in yard so he can run. He likes other dogs once he adjusts, but would probably be best as an only dog as he is dominant.

Story
Meet Dixie and Little Girl These two sweet girls lost their beloved owner, whose final wish was for them to stay together and find a loving home. They are gentle, affectionate, and happiest when they’re with their people. They walk great on leash, are house trained and crate trained, and truly adore each other. While they’ve enjoyed time with volunteers, what they really want is a home where they can love on their humans and feel safe again.Would you help us find Dixie and Little Girl the forever home they deserve—together? If you are interested in adopting, please copy and paste this link into your browser...https://www.apollosupportandrescue.org/adoptthisdog.htmlIncluded with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already.

Story
I need to rehome my 2 year old dog, Jacks. Looking for a new owner preferably with kids.   He is a Jack Russell mix and very friendly and playful.  He is on a good routine, eats breakfast and dinner on schedule, and knows simple commands. He is currently in our home with 2 working parents who cannot give him the attention he deserves. If you know someone who is looking, please pass this along.  He is updated on immunizations, crate trained and potty trained.  He doesn’t chew furniture or jump on furniture.  He  likes to play with other pets and very comfortable at day camp and boarding.
