Story
Jerry is like a little boy in a dog’s body—goofy, sweet, and always ready for fun. He greets life with excitement, sometimes bouncing or jumping just because he can’t contain all the joy inside him. He absolutely loves fetch and will play for as long as you’re willing. Puzzle toys, brain games, dog park trips—Jerry is up for it all! His zest for life is contagious, and he’ll keep you laughing with his silly antics and happy-go-lucky nature. What makes Jerry so special is how universally loving he is. He has met many dogs and people and hasn’t met one he didn’t adore. He’s truly always happy—you’ll be hard-pressed to find him in a bad mood. He’s affectionate, lets you scoop him up and hug him, and just enjoys being close to his humans. Jerry is looking for an active, loving home that can match his energy with play and adventure, then cuddle him afterward like the sweet companion he is.

Story
Meet Valentino! 3-Year-Old • 15 lbs • Terrier/Jack Russell Mix Valentino’s journey has been one of resilience and healing. He was found on the side of the road, likely struck by a vehicle, with a fractured pelvis. After weeks of strict bed rest and gentle care, this brave boy is finally bouncing back—and he’s showing us just how much love he has to give. At first, Valentino was understandably fearful and kept his distance, but as he’s learned to trust, his personality has blossomed. Now, he calls out for attention with his sweet voice, eager for pets and companionship. He loves playing with toys, exploring the outdoors, and soaking up every bit of love he can get. Valentino is not just a survivor—he’s a playful, affectionate pup ready to find a forever home where he’ll never be left behind again. Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet Boots McGee! This 3-year-old, 15-pound Jack Russell/Dachshund mix may be small in size, but he’s got a big personality and an even bigger heart. Boots came to us as a stray with some pretty severe skin issues, and while we’re still working with a dermatologist to get to the bottom of it, he’s been an absolute trooper through it all. Boots is currently on a special diet to help manage his skin and digestive health—and he’ll need to stick with it in his forever home. He’s also heartworm positive, but don’t worry—he’s already received his ProHeart-12 injection and is undergoing treatment. A recheck in nine months will make sure he’s on track to recovery. Boots McGee is a quirky little guy who takes his time warming up to new people, but once he knows you, he’s loyal, sweet, and full of love. He’s not a fan of other animals—he has a high prey drive and would do best as the only pet in a calm, adult-only home where he can truly thrive. He isn’t house-trained yet and could use some help with leash manners, but he’s food-motivated and eager to bond with his person. His ideal match? Someone patient, experienced, and ready to help him feel safe, secure, and loved. Boots McGee is a work in progress—but he’s so worth it. If you’re looking for a special companion who just needs a little extra care and understanding, this scrappy sweetheart might be the one for you. 🐾🖤 Adoption fee is: waived to the right home. Story
Rescued Blaze 3 months ago from the shelter. I was told that he is 2 years old. He is very shy and takes some time warming up. I have come to find out that he was raised with cats so he is very quiet and likes to do his own thing. If you are looking at him, he will freeze. He enjoys being in his crate and getting his ears rubbed but takes a lot of coercion and treats to listen to commands. He lovessss outside, he turns into the energizer bunny.

Story
Milo is about 5 years old now and he was given to me by my dear friend! Milo is so energetic and playful and a very sweet dog! He loves to be petted whenever possible and just feel his person’s touch nearby! Sadly, due to my allergies, I fear I cannot keep him for very long. I only wish for him to go to a loving person/family who can feed him (loves chicken) and play with him (with his favorite tennis ball) to his heart’s content <3
