Story
Buddy appears to be a Jack Russell Terrier/other terrier mix. He is around 1 year of age and weighs 24 pounds. He was found under a bridge in one of the local dumping areas. It is no surprise that Buddy was scared when we first got him, but he quickly warmed up. He loves getting attention from his people. He loves pets and being close to his humans. He loves belly rubs and will roll over on his back whenever you bend over to pick him up. Buddy is small but mighty. He is muscular and high-energy and requires exercise. He loves to run and wrestle with other dogs. Sometimes, he can be naughty and will intimidate one of our more submissive dogs. Yet he backs down when one of the chihuahuas or another dog puts him in his place. Buddy is generally a good boy, and training is a work in progress. He listens well and comes when called. He is crate-trained and fairly well-behaved in the house. We are working on teaching him manners. He gets jumpy when he wants attention and more training is needed. He responds well to "no" and the "tsch" correction (as used by Cesar Milan). It would be best if applicants have dog experience and are willing to hire a trainer if necessary. Buddy would love his new family to play with him, take him on walks, cuddle, and give him a lot of affection and belly rubs. Buddy must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and have a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Buddy is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is heartworm-negative and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Buddy is available for adoption to approved in-state and out-of-state applicants. His in-state adoption fee is $150. His out-of-state adoption fee is $400 and includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company. He can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you would like to adopt this sweet, active little guy. Story
I’m sad to say I need to rehome my dog. I been displaced, lost my job and going through a divorce all in one month. I can’t afford him and I wish I could keep him, but I can’t. Sora is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male jack Russell mix. He has weird joints going on his legs but is able to doggo with no issue. We think he might be a dwarf due to how bow legged he is but is in no pain and able to run so fast he can chase frogs and play. He is stoic. He acts all tough and barks but no bite. He does bark and growl, but that’s his way to talk , and it’s not in an aggressive way. When he sees you give attention to others, he will boop you with his nose and want loves too. If I ever seen a dog blush after being kissed, this is him. He doesn’t like people close to his face at first and only wants pets and scratches at first. But Once he trusts you, he will follow you everywhere, give you silent love and support. All in all, the sweetest dog you will ever meet.

Story
Abandoned small mixed terrier breed dog, assumed to be of a Jack Russell mix. Found on a busy bridge. Not microchipped at the time and attempted for months to locate an owner. Gets along well with other dogs (preferably non-working lines) of all sizes. Her favorite game to play with other dogs is chase! She is a herding dog, so she might attempt to herd resident dogs. She's spunky and full of energy. She loves to play with any type of toy and snuggles with her human(s). She may be a bit shy at first, but when she warms up to you; she'll be your best friend for life! Dog had a slight limp in her rear right leg in which we took her to the vet and it was diagnosed as a fractured femur. We went ahead and completed the surgery. She healed nicely and pin was taking out. On colder days or when she runs around too much, she'll slightly limp again but it does not hurt her in any way. We want the best for her and would love for someone to give her a forever home!
