Lucky is a Smart cute two half year old JRT. He has lots of energy, enjoys hunting out in a big back yard. Always after possums squirrels and birds. He loves chasing the ball and playing frisbee. Luckys ideal owner needs to be very fit and active to keep up with him. He loves a structured day and can get anxious if you leave him for too long. He’s not a big walker but loves his owner to keep him busy. Lucky does not like when you disturb him from sleeping. He will let you know with warning typical JRT attitude growl to tell you he’s not happy. He can be bossy and dominant. Regular engagement in training him works wonders! Loves his treats for tricks! Lots of exercise for Lucky. No couch potato! No need for Exterminator! varmints hate JRT!! No apartments lifestyle for Lucky.experienced Adoptee is very important. Lucky has had professional training in home but it needs to be consistent. The Farm life environment would be great for Lucky! He’s a true hunter and loyal to his master.

We think he's probably a JRT mixed with some Maltese, but either way he's 100% adorable Lapdog. At 9lbs he loves to be held and be close to his human. Peanut is still learning that Toddlers make unexpected movements and noises that he's not a fan of, but they also drop food and treats, which is he a fan of, so he is learning trade-offs. He is realizing that "hiding" on the top of the Sofa back is out of reach for the toddler in his fosters home and can be used as a time-out safety spot. He follows the resident dogs and cats for outside time and is getting the hang of house training - until he's mastered that he is not complaining about wearing bellybands. Leash walking is still new to him and he's getting better, he does ride quietly in the car. Peanut is looking for a home with (older, calmer) children or without, preferably with another companion dog for him to learn from and follow. He may be able to handle regular working hours provide he receives sufficient exercise and attention around those hours. After fruitlessly searching for her family, she was nursed back to health, growing leaps and bounds and is now ready to find her furever family. Patty is about 3 months old, currently about 18 lbs and still growing, she *should* top at around 45 lbs, but that is an educated guess. Patty is active and playful, loves playing with some of her foster's other dogs, while evading correction from one of them who acts as the "fun police". As a puppy she is still working on house training - she is doing pretty well most of the time - she also likes to explore her world with her teeth. Learning what is appropriate to chew on (HER toys) and what is not (people, shoes etc) is ongoing, she redirects well, with typical puppy short attention span. She is looking for a home with another playful dog for her to play with and to learn from. As she is mouthy and jumpy, older kids if any would be best. She is also still learning leash walking and general house rules, so patience, time and attention is also required. **Courtesy Post** Maci is a beautiful 6 year old spayed female Jack Russell Terrier. Vet work is complete and she is microchipped and vaccinated. Maci loves people but not other dogs. She wants all the love. Everything about her is wonderful! She is a true representation of her breed. Funny, energetic, smart, loving, and very engaging. Maci needs an owner who is home at least half the time. She wants quite a bit of attention from her owners. They need to have JRT experience and be willing and able to keep up with her. Maci is a 12 -13 year commitment. Her owner needs to be able to be there for her. She cannot be crated, but she does not need to be. She does not make a mess when home alone. Your backyard needs to be “Maci proof”. A secure fence is a must. No electronic fencing, no short chain link, and no wrought iron fencing unless it is screened. If you have any little pests or varmints outside she will dispatch them for you if they are on land or in the air. Maci requires a home with no kids, no cats and no farm animals. No little critters such as hamsters, bearded dragons, parakeets, etc. Maci’s adopter needs to be able to drive to the Cypress, Texas area to get her. We hope to place her in Texas or a state that borders Texas. A good vet reference and home visit are mandatory to adopt Maci. Meet Sunshine, a young, energetic furball who`s eager to play and explore. His curious nature means he`s always up for an adventure, whether it`s a new toy or a hidden corner of the yard. He likes agility, car rides, running, tugging, toys, water, wrestling, and chase. He weighs 27 pounds and is still perfecting his leash walking skills but he is already house trained. Sunshine is smart and independent, able to entertain himself yet always ready for a cuddle session. He knows the sit, stay, come, and down commands. Despite his independence, he`s incredibly friendly and affectionate, always ready to give and receive love. He`s a bit afraid of baths and grooming, but with a gentle touch and lots of patience, he can overcome anything. His excitable nature means he`s always ready for fun, and his love for belly rubs and treats is unparalleled. He`s friendly and playful but a bit rough and jumpy around children, but with some training and patience, he can learn to adjust. For now, he`ll need to live with kids at least 15 years old. Sunshine has a penchant for chewing and digging, and he tends to bark at other dogs. He demonstrated in a foster home that he is friendly, playful, and rough with other pooches and likes dogs as active as he is. He is respectful around cats and prefers to ignore them.
