Story
Danielle aka Coco is a sweet, comical little girl. She loves being petted and is quick to offer her belly for tummy rubs. She enjoys tearing around the backyard, at breakneck speed but stops after a couple of laps. She loves playing with her foster buddy, Marvin (aka Vinnie), but she can sometimes challenge other small dogs. She will also initially challenge larger dogs, but stops after being put in her place a time or two with a bark from the larger dog. Coco was returned for nipping at a baby but she was okay with toddlers in her foster home when she returned to our program. Because of her history, I would not recommend placing her with babies or children under the age of 6 or so. A trial period with any other dogs in the home would be recommended. She could also be an only dog and be perfectly happy. She loves people. ****Prior to filling out an application or contacting RHS, please completely read the instructions below.**** ALL ADOPTERS/FOSTERS MUST LIVE WITHIN 60 MILES OF RICHARDSON, TX. True to her breed, Akira is incredibly smart, curious, and always on the lookout for her next adventure.   She absolutely loves playing ball and will keep you entertained for hours with her zest for life. Story
Meet Clarissa: The Superdog with a Heart of Gold! Say hello to Clarissa, our five-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who's all set to bring a burst of joy and love into your home! This pint-sized bundle of love weighs in at a sturdy 35 pounds and is every bit the sweetheart you've been looking for. Clarissa's story is one of resilience and charm. Adopted as a puppy and having done fantastic in her first home, she recently found herself back with us. But let us tell you, this gem of a dog has only gotten better with age. Currently boarding and charming everyone she meets, Clarissa gets along fabulously with dogs her size and larger. While she's not the biggest fan of smaller breeds, she's the life of the party among her similarly sized friends. Part of our prestigious Superdog Program, Clarissa is excelling in her K9 Good Citizen training. She's playful, energetic, and friendly, making her the perfect companion for any family. With great leash manners and a love for walks, she's ready to trot alongside you on all your adventures. Clarissa is looking for a forever home or a loving foster. She's a fantastic match for kids and is sure to bring a lot of joy and laughter to your household. As for cats, we're not quite sure, so a cat-free home might be best. If you're looking for a well-behaved, dog-friendly (with dogs her size or larger) companion who's ready to fill your days with love and fun, Clarissa is your girl. Don't miss the chance to add this delightful Superdog to your family. Adopt or foster Clarissa today and let the good times roll! All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
