Story
Hello! My name is Pivo and I am roughly a year old Jack Rustle Terrior. I was a adopted from the Brenham Animal Shelter as a very small pup where i was found with my Jack Rustler mom and siblings. I'm a very good boy when I manage to listen. I have LOTS of energy and absolutely love to play! I love to go to the park and go for car rides. I know what 'treats' are and love to sit for them. I live only inside and I love to cuddle. I unfortunately need to learn how to not chew everything up. I need lots of space like a back yard which is why I'm looking for a loving family. I get along great with other cats and dogs and I love just about everybody. Thanks for checking out my page!

Story
Biscotti is a small terrier/cattle dog mix that came into the rescue due to an inability to use one of his front paws. Turns out, he is all about the dramatics because as soon as he got a little anti-inflammatory he bounced right up on it! He is still in the process of healing and requires limited activity (but you try telling his little energetic self that!). He has been neutered and looking for a forever person that will play with him and then let him snuggle up with you!He loves going on walks, playing outside, and playing tug-of-war. He is not the biggest fan of playing fetch. He is still being potty trained but we are also working on that. He is food-motivated and likes to play with cats. He also likes car rides! To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.

Story
Romeo oh Romeo! This sweet and fun loving boy is ready to find his forever Juliet. His beginnings were a little opposite of a love story - where he spent long days alone on an apartment balcony with little attention. At AAR, he has blossomed into a joyful, affectionate dog always ready to greet the volunteers with tail wags and kisses.Romeo loves playing and going for walks. He can definitely snuggle up on movie nights. He does well in a crate.  We believe he is best suited for a family that has children over 10. If Romeo makes your heart skip a beat, come on in and change his love story. Est. DOB: 7/30/2213 lbs.AAR does not transport for adoption.

Story
Buddy appears to be a Jack Russell Terrier/other terrier mix. He is around 1 year of age and weighs 24 pounds. He was found under a bridge in one of the local dumping areas. It is no surprise that Buddy was scared when we first got him, but he quickly warmed up. He loves getting attention from his people. He loves pets and being close to his humans. He loves belly rubs and will roll over on his back whenever you bend over to pick him up. Buddy is small but mighty. He is muscular and high-energy and requires exercise. He loves to run and wrestle with other dogs. Sometimes, he can be naughty and will intimidate one of our more submissive dogs. Yet he backs down when one of the chihuahuas or another dog puts him in his place. Buddy is generally a good boy, and training is a work in progress. He listens well and comes when called. He is crate-trained and fairly well-behaved in the house. We are working on teaching him manners. He gets jumpy when he wants attention and more training is needed. He responds well to "no" and the "tsch" correction (as used by Cesar Milan). It would be best if applicants have dog experience and are willing to hire a trainer if necessary. Buddy would love his new family to play with him, take him on walks, cuddle, and give him a lot of affection and belly rubs. Buddy must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and have a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Buddy is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is heartworm-negative and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Buddy is available for adoption to approved in-state and out-of-state applicants. His in-state adoption fee is $150. His out-of-state adoption fee is $400 and includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company. He can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you would like to adopt this sweet, active little guy.
