**Courtesy Post** Valentine lost the person she loved most in the world, her owner died. Valentine is 6-7 years old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Her owner had been sick for a long time and when they passed away it left Valentine in need of a new home. Valentine was very protective of my sister and will need patience to gain trust again. She is understandably confused and sad. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt her. Valentine needs a securely fenced yard, but she definitely needs to be an indoor dog. She requires a home with no kiddos and no cats. Other dogs are ok as long as they are male dogs. Her adopter must be able to drive to the Georgetown, Texas area to get her. JJ was rescued along with his brother shadow after being dumped on someones land and about to be shot. Jack is a very vocal baby that will speak to you all the time. He is great at alerting when someone is at the door and when he wants to go outside. He does not do well with loud noises as he watched his other 2 brothers be shot. He is very timid at first but will warm up to you with patience and time. He is house trained and knows basic commands. He is very food and treat motivated. He needs a home with loving people that will show him what it is like to be their forever baby. He needs a family that is patient with him. He loves to cuddle on the sofa or on you where he can dig his nose into your hair.

Molly is my old mama's favorite animal, and has been for over six years (Molly is 7). Mom is moving into the old folks home, and they only allow pets up to five pounds. Family cannot take Molly, although we would love to. So we are looking for a happy family for our happy dog. She is an energetic creature. She has funny crooked front feet, but the vets all say that it is not a problem for her mobility, nor do they expect it to be. It definitely does not slow her down. She is a very smart dog, and she is the sweetest creature that you will ever meet. We all hate to give her up, but we just aren't allowed to keep her. Molly has been in faaaaaaaarrr west Texas for the past couple of years, so although she has recieved good care throughout her life, vaccinations, etc. weren't easily obtained in the middle of the desert, so she is behind on a few shots. Despite her travels, she is a happy and healthy doggy. She is mostly Jack Russell, but some other stuff is in there, not sure what.

Wattson was a stray that ate scraps at my grandma's house in Mexico. Eventually she had a litter behind her house and her pups started to die. I rescued her and her last pup and brought them home. Wattson is now thriving and she loves to run and chase/bark at squirrels and wild bunnies. She will require a large yard to spend energy in because walks are not quite her enough for her. Wattson is good with other dogs and children, but due to her prey drive may not do well with cats. Although she loves to run, Wattson also loves to be around her person. She will tag along just about anywhere and beg for pets. She also potty trained very quickly but when she is afraid (think thunderstorms, or chasing her if she got out) she is prone to accidents. She does well in a crate overnight though. One of Wattson's favorite things is to be carried, she will hang on to you as long as you are willing to let her. She is not keen of car rides though so lots of love is needed when transported.

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to rehome our beloved Finley. We just had a new baby and the stress of it all brought out his protective instincts too much for the safety of our daughter. He is a very loyal, playful, loving Jack Russell mix but needs a home without children under the age of 12 where he can thrive. He is about 5 years old, weighs 25 pounds, potty trained (knows how to use doggie door) and loves walks, hiking, and snuggles on the couch after a long day of playing. He goes to Camp Bow Wow daycare regularly and is very social with other dogs. We are devastated to have to make this decision but know it is the right one for him and for our family. He is up to date on all vaccines, fixed, and we rescued him from the Austin Humane Society in 2020. Please message if interested or know of any rescues that are able to foster or help rehome. Meet Atlas, a playful little bundle of joy! Atlas loves spending time around other dog friends, especially playing with his foster brother at home. When he goes on walks he might get a little over excited and bark, but does great when being redirected with treats! In the little exposure he has had being around children, he was super calm and relaxed and was very sweet with them. Atlas does great when his humans are away and loves sleeping in his crate at night. He has been house trained and does an excellent job at indicating when he needs to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately, Atlas does live with chronic kidney failure, but he doesn't let that impede on his happy way of life!
