Story
Socks and her sister Boots come to us from a rural shelter where they were found as four-week-old puppies in need of a forever home! Their foster mom describes these two girls as "two of the cutest and best foster babies we've ever had", which is certainly saying something as they have fostered nearly 60 puppies. Socks is noted to be the more vocal of the two sisters and is considered to have "big dog energy". With their adorable shorter legs, their foster mom believes them to be some sort of Jack Russell terrier mix and with their coloring, we think perhaps they have some sort of Border Collie in their genetics as well. Their foster parents say they "definitely seem like the product of a big dog parent and a small dog parent". Socks and Boots are considered to be very aware of their surroundings and "polite eaters and poopers", meaning they don't try to eat from one another's bowls of food and don't stumble back through their poop outside after going, which is something most puppies take a long time to master. These little girls are so incredibly smart! So far, Socks and Boots have proven their ability to sleep through the night when kept on a schedule and have only had minimal accidents in the house because their foster parents have them on a very strict potty-training schedule. They get along very well with their foster family's bigger dog as well. Socks and Boots are extreme cuddle bugs and do not try and squirm away when they are picked up. Like most young puppies, Socks is extremely friendly, playful, and is basically a blank slate as far as potential and trainability go. Socks and Boots have been moved to a foster home together to work on starting potty training, learning manners, and learning to co-exist in different types of houses with different families. If a lifelong best friend is something you are currently searching for, then run to submit an adoption application for Socks or her sister Boots! They will be available to move into their new homes the week of December 29th, 2024, but you can go ahead and apply to be approved to adopt one of these cuties! Upon adoption, Socks will have received age-appropriate shots, will be spayed at 6 months old, and will receive a microchip when big enough to safely do so, Apply to adopt Boots here: https://form.jotform.com/240287047227052 For approved applications, the following transport locations are available at this time: Athens, TN Raphine, Virginia Allentown, Pennsylvania Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Malvern, Pennsylvania Hagerstown, Maryland Bedminster, New Jersey Pluckemin, New Jersey Woodbridge, New Jersey Griswold, Connecticut Millford, Connecticut Southington, Connecticut Willington, Connecticut Smithfield, Rhode Island West Greenwich, Rhode Island If we do not offer transport to your area, you can drive to Memphis for pickup.

Story
Meet Mischief ! 🐾 She can’t quite understand why someone would give her such a name when she thinks she is just a sweet adorable little angel. Mischief can’t wait until someone special comes along that she can call her own (and maybe give her a sweet loving name she deserves) This girl never misses a beat. She fit right in immediately and made herself at home with her foster mom and foster mates. She has a wonderful outgoing personality but also just adores cuddles and treats by the fireside and on the couch. 💖 Personality: Goofy, playful and energetic. Hollys has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with all other dogs and any person she meets. Anyone would be lucky to make her part of your life and/or family. She is sure to bring numerous smiles to your life daily. Those ears couldn’t get any cuter. Mischief is going to make a superb family companion and she is ready and waiting to be your new best friend! If you’re ready to give Mischief a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and a cozy bed, please reach out! Let’s find this sweet pup the forever home she deserves. 🐶💕 Once adopted she will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9
