Story
After much consideration, training, and with heavy hearts, my husband and I need to re-home our 11 year old terrier mix, Ellie. We adopted her around age 1, in 2014, and she has been our baby until our son came along in 2020. Ellie has never trusted our son and shows signs of aggression (such as showing teeth), which is obviously unsafe for our son. As a result, we have to keep them separated and her/our quality of life has decreased considerably. We tried getting other help to re-home and have been unsuccessful. Ellie is an extremely loyal, smart, healthy, and loves to snuggle. She loves adult humans and has been house trained from the start. She is extremely motivated by food, and requires more mental exercise than physical exercise. Ellie would do great with a single person, a couple, or a family with older teen children.

Hey there, I'm Moe. It's nice to meet you. So it all started with an adventure. I was going to a new place and I was so excited, but also a little scared. I had to leave my mommy, but everything was ok because we met a really nice doggy who cleaned us and taught us a few things. She's taught us all about wrestling, and encourages us to be more gentle when we get too rough playing. I love playing with my brothers and toys, especially my elephant. My foster mom has us working on tinkling in the grass, I'm trying my best and it's actually going really well. I love to go out first thing in the morning when I wake up from snoozing. I am still a little guy and I am looking for my forever home. I have a very bubbly personality and my favorite thing to do is take naps on my person's lap. Man do I love to snuggle. Hiya, I'm Larry. I'm so excited to meet you. So it all started when we had to go to a new place. Being so little I was so scared that I was shaking, but my brothers helped me calm down. It took me a while to get used to being away from my mommy but our foster mom ended up being so nice. She cleaned us and taught us a few new things. She's taught us all about wrestling, and encourages us to be more gentle when we get too rough playing (I may be small but don't let that fool you I pack a punch). I love playing with my brothers and toys. Especially my squeaky Kool-Aid Man. I'm working on getting better at this pottying stuff but I'm pretty good at it already as long as you take me out when I wake up and after I eat. Even though I started out a bit shy I am a social butterfly and the life of the party. I'm a very go with the flow kinda guy. But I don't want to miss out on any fun so when it's getting a bit past our bedtime and when my brothers and I are playing, I can barely keep my eyes open so it looks like I'm squinting. I am looking for a forever home where I can be the party and make it to bed at a decent time. I absolutely love a good snuggle with a blanket after play time. Please help me find a forever home. Oh how Chase is just the most adorable Jack Russel/ Chihuaha mix! This love bug is 2yrs old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Chase is a very sweet boy and dog friendly. He would do better with dogs bigger than him. He loves to play with his foster buddy who's a Golden Retriever! Because he can play rough (typical Jack Russel) other little dogs might not like his play style. Chase is true to the Jack Russel breed with having a lot of energy. But once he gets some exercise he settles right down. We will require a fenced in yard for Chase so he can run around. Also, if you're a walker, that's a great way to get a dogs enery out! Tinsel DOB is 10-2-15 and was adopted from Catawba County humane society. Tinsel is a very loyal and loving dog but would be a much better match for a family that had her as an only dog. My son has moved in with us and brought his dog, which Tinsel does great with until there is food, treats or toys involved. When that happens she becomes very aggressive towards the other dog and has started fights. We have another older lab that Tensile gets along with but she is definitely determine to be the alpha dog and the lab lets her.
