Story
He was one of a litter of 4 that I took care of for my daughter and found homes for 3 but could not find home for him. He does not look like the others. They were part yorkie and part long haired chihuahua. He didn't fall into that category. He is a sweet boy. I just don't have the capacity to continue caring for him. I have 2 other dogs and many cats. He doesn't get the attention he needs. He is a year old as of 10/21/24

Story
,Hi! I’m Pookie, or Pooks for short. Sometimes my foster mom also calls me Pookus but I am not sure why. I lost my family and home after my family was evicted in May 2024. I was very sad and confused and still don’t understand where my people are. I am getting pretty old and get confused sometimes, but I’m trying hard to adapt. I don’t see or hear too well but my foster mom helps me get around. Since I can’t hear, I’m a deep sleeper. My most favorite thing to do is eat. I love breakfast and dinner time. It’s usually when I perk up the most. I don’t mind new people or other dogs and appreciate having some space as I don’t get around so fast anymore. I am a very quiet girl and never bark. If you take me outside regularly, I’ll go potty outside. My foster mom has been keeping me on a good schedule and I’ve been doing such a good job. Occasionally I might still have an accident, but I try my hardest to do it on the potty pad. Most people who meet me laugh at my snaggle tooth because it’s pretty cute. I really would like to spend my retirement with someone with a slower paced life who can help me find some comfort in my old age. If there’s anyone looking to open their heart to helping a senior dog, I’m your girl!My adoption fee of $300 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Meet Ross, a sweet Jack Russell Terrier/Pit Bull mix. Ross was surrendered to our rescue due to no fault of his own. Ross knew a life of love and care, but unfortunately his loving owner became sick and decided it was ultimately best to find Ross a new home. We estimate that ross is about 3 years old. Ross is energetic and spunky, he loves to play outside with dogs and toys! He is loving and friendly. Ross would do best in an active home that can appreciate his zest for life! We promised Ross that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.
