Mowgli is a sweet, curious, energetic dog who loves to cuddle. I unfortunately live in a busy city and do not have a car which I have found is not the ideal home for Mowgli. Ideally, he would need a yard to run around in and others around at home. Due to my change in career I am away from home for long periods of time and am unable to give him the attention he needs. Mowgli is about 5 years old and I adopted him from Operation Paws for Homes straight from a foster. It breaks my heart to give him up but I think it is the best decision for him. He loves to play hide and seek and tug of war.

Carla’s a 4yo 15lb JRT. She’s dog, cat and older dog savvy kid friendly. She’s used to pee pads so needs some work on going outside instead. She’s used to her fosters secure fenced in yard and when must go out with harness and leash she gets nervous. She came from a hoarding situation where she didn’t leave the house or have human interaction. She will need warm up time but once she trusts you she is extremely loving. Once she warms up she will want to be next to them. Carla MUST have a secure fenced in yard, another well balanced, confident dog along with people who are on board to show leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT fit this please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone not a fit. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Carla came to Tiny Paws from a hoarding house where she was bred and had puppies. Pancake was picked up off the streets, already neutered and microchipped (but alas, the chip was not registered). He is a sassy little guy, he enjoys long walks and belly rubs. He also enjoys his dinner to the point of resource guarding - as in if you get near his bowl, he will bite you. We are hand feeding him as a way to diminish this behavior, but his future family needs to be aware that he is not perfect. He loves running loose on the farm, ignores the other dogs and cats, and will happily trot along wherever his foster travels. He is a perfect auxiliary dog! All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed. Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl. Summer was born in May 2020. We adopted in August 2020. She was attacked by a loose dog twice her size during a walk and now is anxious around other dogs. We are rehoming her because she no longer can be near our other older dog. She is very smart and knows the meaning of several words: Play Ball, Crate Walk, Park, Food, Sit, Treat, Out, No, Stop, Come, Good Girl, and a few other words. When I hold up my index finger she knows that means wait a minute. She is house and crate trained, very affectionate, and playful. We would provide her crate and blankets, toys, harness, leash and her Neater Feeder water and food bowls unit. She loves to play, particularly fetch with her soft orange ball, cuddle up while watching TV and is very affectionate. She is also a great watch dog. Adoption fee is just to ensure she goes to a good, loving home. It will be held in escrow and refunded after she is in her new home for 90 days.
