Story
“CJ” here! I’m a little guy (about 25#), that makes up for my size in spirit (in a good way).  Thought to be a Jack Russel/Corgi mix, I’m a “Squirt” with short leg, long body and bobbed tail (so cute). Just look at my soulful dark eyes! How can you resist??? My bestest friend, Charlie (also looking for a home) and I both came to Molly’s Place a Youngens from different shelters. Adopted by the same human, we became roomies, bonded and inseparable pals, (Get my drift). BUT, each about 8 years young now, we are again looking for a home at no fault of ours. Sadly, our human was evicted and we were returned. Being a senior, I totally understand that it’s slim chance we would again be adopted together. Wanting the best for my bro, I’m willing to let go if need be. Extra lovens, rubbens and cuddlens would make the difference, I’d be content.    I do have pep, vim and vigor and PLAYing with other dogs or my humans is WHERE IT’S AT! House, crate and leash trained, young whipper snappers have nothing over older doggies, for sure! Although said to be allergic to kiddos, I do LOVE other dogs and adult humans. I’m ready for the next chapter in my life! If you’re in the market for wise, loyal companion that loves leisurely strolls, playtime games, then quiet conversations, look no further. (Please read Charlie’s bio as well!) Older pooches are experienced in life, love and appreciated any time you have to give making us the BEST for companionship. No childish games here.  I’m CJ. I have the “spirit in my step, love in my heart” and a lot of life yet to live for years to come.   To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:      spay/neuter surgery,    microchip and registration,    age appropriate vaccinations,    initial dewormings,    Activyl for fleas,    tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),    bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 23, 2024, 10:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Hi my name is Roxy! I was taken from a home that could only be entered by first putting on a respirator, and gloves along with my half-sisters Isabell & Smokey. The 3 of us are so thankful to be with 2nd Chance! I am a very sweet gal who loves affection and kisses, I have LOTS of energy, and Smokey and I LOVE to play together. Smokey and I have lived together all of our lives, so for that reason we must be adopted together. We require a fenced yard.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!October 14, 2024, 6:08 pm

Story
Meet Goose! This little lady came to us all the way back in January 2024 after she was found dumped alongside several other dogs. Goose has spent most of her time learning that people are not so scary and that she can have two-legged friends as well as four-legged friends. Goose is looking for an extremely quiet, patient home that will allow her to come into her personality at her own pace. She is not a fan of being held, or pet by new people. She LOVES treats. Snacks are the quickest way to Goose's heart. That, or if you have a doggy pal to keep her company. We would prefer Goose go to a home with another dog as she loves the company of other dogs. They seem to give her a very big boost in confidence and she can always be found snuggled up with her buddies. Goose is still working on her leash walking and has been doing okay with walking with a slip lead. We have not tried to put a collar/harness on her and would recommend her adopters use a slip lead on her until she is more settled. If you have some extra TLC to give and a calm, quiet home then stop by and visit her today! Goose is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Story
*FOZZY IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED* Fozzy Bear is the REAL DEAL. Fozzy is a Jack Russell Terrier/Pomeranian mix. He is around 1-2 years old and only 15lbs. He loves everyone of every age and species he meets. Young, old, human, canine... he loves meeting and greeting! He is as smart as he is handsome and learns very quickly. Fozzy is bombproof! He is perfectly housetrained. Toys are his favorite, and he loves to play fetch. But if you tire out, he is quick to jump in your lap and channel surf. He loves a car ride and he walks beautifully on a lead. He also has perfect recall. Fozzy has one quirk... He will bark 100% of the time if you crate him or leave him outside alone for extended periods of time or if you make him sleep in a room alone. This dog loves family and wants to be where you are. Fozzy's best home will have a secured fenced yard. His people will be medium to very active, so he can take leash walks, play fetch, and car trips. An excellent history of vet care for previous or current pets is required. Preference will be given to adopters with specific breed experience. Fozzy is completely vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  His adoption fee of $600 includes the transportation to his new home in PA. New Beginnings Animal Rescue uses  a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Fozzy to his new home.  You can apply to adopt Fozzy here: https://newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application    T HANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Cash is a very energetic boy. He loves going outside, but must have a leash because he runs fast (lol). We have an allergy issue in the house (kids), so I'm trying my best. Cash would be best suited for someone who can devote time to him. He's a loving but rowdy boy (1 year old) and full of energy. He is up to date on shots.
