Story
Gyver is a good natured, gregarious, happy-go-lucky 30 lb, 6 year old Jack Russell/Chunky pooch (Pug?). My foster parents love me! They write that I get along great with people, older calm kids, dogs, & cats. I'm loyal, friendly, loving, well behaved, display good manners, & listen fairly well to commands, He matches his energy level to us, not food or toy possessive, no prey drive, does not react to dogs he sees from the car, loves car rides, loves his walks, & likes being groomed, He truly enjoys walking on the beach & in quieter places where he's able to sniff & explore the area. Hi does not like people or rambunctious/bigger dogs who invade his 'space', & will bark at them. Foster Mom has been teaching Gyver to ignore approaching such dogs, & rewards him with a treat when he is successful! Gyver is fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped, & has a negative 4dx blood test (no heartworm or tick diseases). He is currently on flea & tick prevention. He would thrive best in an active calm home, with a backyard, & where there isn't a lot of chaos. He just wants to be loved and give love. Interested? Email Sue: sgaskell63@gmail.com. Adoption fee: $600.

Location : Korea Adoption inquiries: wds3628@nate.com ▶ Relationship with dogs: Gets along with other dogs very well. However, there are times where he barks at dogs who are too aggressive or dogs who bark at them. ▶ Relationship with cats: Hasn’t been in same space with cats, but barks at cats passing by the fence. ▶ Relationship between people: Loves human and being alongside for long period. Loves meeting people when going for walks. Mary sticks her head towards people, as if wanting to be seen. Loves human more than other dogs. If other dogs run towards her owner or seems to bother them, she would bark at them to stop. ▶ Leash training: She is family and doesn’t have aversion towards harness; she enjoys them since she know it means going for a walk. Special note: As a side effect from measle, has tic symptoms, weak front legs and inablity to produce tears. Due to weak front legs, may have some amount of shaking but has no problem at all to go for a walk. Slippery floors may casue her to slip some times but other than that, there are no problems. Mary's left eye has a bit of murky makrs which are improving over time. She has been puting artifical tears to help it. Mary used to have a paralysis on left part of her, but she was desperate to heal, that she overcame it. Her strong will is making her healthier daily.

Meet Toffee, the charming and spirited 5-year-old male with a personality as big as his heart! This tiny pup may be small in size, but he makes up for it with his vibrant character and endless love. Toffee is house-trained and never had any accidents while in his foster home. He knows how to walk on a leash and is familiar with basic commands like sit and wait. Personality: Toffee is a bundle of excitement, especially around cats. He lived with a cat in his foster home and always got thrilled to see his feline friend. Despite his tiny stature, Toffee has a dominant personality and isn't afraid to stand up to even the biggest dogs. He currently stays with other dogs but often shows his dominant side. Toffee is a little jealous and prefers to be the center of attention. He wants to be the only pet receiving love and affection when he's around. Toffee may be small, but he's full of life and love, ready to find his forever home where he can be the star. Story
Mila is a 2 year old terrier/hound mix (likely JRT & Beagle) weighing approx 27 lbs. She loves her humans very much and is very playful and affectionate with them. Mila did not start her life off in a bad way but she did miss out on training, boundaries and socialization. For this reason, Mila has spent time with a professional trainer who has fallen in love with her. Unfortunately, there are limits to the number of dogs a person can have! She loves the outdoors and play time! She’s a very active girl and would do great with a dominant larger dog, she can be too rambunctious for a small dog. Mila is an excellent girl at home when you have to go out, just make sure you have the perfect window for her to neighborhood watch from! She is obviously a high energy girl but likes nothing more than to be tucked in beside her person on the couch!! She gives great hugs and kisses!! Mila will require an experienced owner and home without children under the age of 7. She loves kids but is still learning boundaries. Her adopter will be able to take advantage of some professional advise from her trainer in order to keep Mila improving. Training consistency will be key to keeping Mila on track with her progression. Mila is currently being fostered in Newmarket, ON. If you are interested in adopting Mila, please complete an application on our website: https://www.jrnc.org/adoption-application
