She’s wonderful with cats, loves treats & will even stand up and beg. It’s adorable! Deirdre weighs about 30 lbs & is around 2 years old! She’s good on a leash & always happy to go for a walk!! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Puck is a really chill puppy at only 11 weeks. With this handsome boy you’ll get the best of both worlds. He’s a super snuggler and couch potato if you want him to be, but also is totally up for a hike or run! Don’t want to run? No problem! He’s a great leash walker, and perfectly fine with a casual, relaxed stroll through the neighborhood. He catches on to rules and cues fast and already knows how to sit and lie down. This cutie will also sleep through the night in his crate without any issues! Have I mention that he is awesome?!?Judging by the size of the paws, he’ll be medium sized at best. Meet Trixie. Trixie is bonded with NALA who both came into rescue when the owner moved in to a new place and they were not allowed. They are both 4 years old spayed and fully vetted. Both get along with other animals, housetrained. Love the people Trixie loves sleeping with her human and cuddling, Nala likes to sleep in her crate. Trixie does not prefer at all a crate. She loves to be with you. She gets a little anxious and scared when she is left , so she takes a little medicine from the vet. We dont know if it is because of losing her home and what she knew. She has only been in rescue a couple weeks or so. We would like to see them stay together as Nala sucks on Trixie ears and make her feel better we think. Buddy appears to be a Jack Russell Terrier/other terrier mix. He is around 1 year of age and weighs 24 pounds. He was found under a bridge in one of the local dumping areas. It is no surprise that Buddy was scared when we first got him, but he quickly warmed up. He loves getting attention from his people. He loves pets and being close to his humans. He loves belly rubs and will roll over on his back whenever you bend over to pick him up. Buddy is small but mighty. He is muscular and high-energy and requires exercise. He loves to run and wrestle with other dogs. Sometimes, he can be naughty and will intimidate one of our more submissive dogs. Yet he backs down when one of the chihuahuas or another dog puts him in his place. Buddy is generally a good boy, and training is a work in progress. He listens well and comes when called. He is crate-trained and fairly well-behaved in the house. We are working on teaching him manners. He gets jumpy when he wants attention and more training is needed. He responds well to "no" and the "tsch" correction (as used by Cesar Milan). It would be best if applicants have dog experience and are willing to hire a trainer if necessary. Buddy would love his new family to play with him, take him on walks, cuddle, and give him a lot of affection and belly rubs. Buddy must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and have a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Buddy is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is heartworm-negative and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Buddy is ready to change his zip code. He is located in Texas but can be transported after he is adopted. Buddy's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to several scheduled stops in Ohio - including but not limited to - Columbus, Cincinnati, and Akron OH.
