Buddy appears to be a Jack Russell Terrier/other terrier mix. He is around 1 year of age and weighs 24 pounds. He was found under a bridge in one of the local dumping areas. It is no surprise that Buddy was scared when we first got him, but he quickly warmed up. He loves getting attention from his people. He loves pets and being close to his humans. He loves belly rubs and will roll over on his back whenever you bend over to pick him up. Buddy is small but mighty. He is muscular and high-energy and requires exercise. He loves to run and wrestle with other dogs. Sometimes, he can be naughty and will intimidate one of our more submissive dogs. Yet he backs down when one of the chihuahuas or another dog puts him in his place. Buddy is generally a good boy, and training is a work in progress. He listens well and comes when called. He is crate-trained and fairly well-behaved in the house. We are working on teaching him manners. He gets jumpy when he wants attention and more training is needed. He responds well to "no" and the "tsch" correction (as used by Cesar Milan). It would be best if applicants have dog experience and are willing to hire a trainer if necessary. Buddy would love his new family to play with him, take him on walks, cuddle, and give him a lot of affection and belly rubs. Buddy must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and have a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Buddy is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is heartworm-negative and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Buddy is ready to change his zip code. He is located in Texas but can be transported after he is adopted. Buddy's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to the Pittsburgh area. Waylon is house trained, great on a leash, and even knows how to sit on command – a smart and obedient companion indeed! Waylon gets along well with cats and other dogs. While he hasn't been around kids much, with his gentle demeanor and loving personality, he is likely to do great with children too. Waylon enjoys cuddling up for some quality time and is always up for playing or running around the yard.  Waylon is still working on crate training, but he’s already getting better. Betty White has certainly "traveled down the road and back again. She is a 2.5 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix who was found as a stray on St. Thomas. Just like her name sake, she is a sweet girl and she quickly won the hearts of the staff at the humane society. Betty is partially blind and deaf but trust me that does not stop her. She navigates well around her foster mom's house, is able to go up and down the steps with ease and she loves to explore the back yard. You will never be lonely with Betty White in the house because she will always be by your side giving kisses. Because of her deficits she is reactive to animal around her so a without other pets is a must a house. She seeks out plush toys to play with and they will keep her entertained for hours. Betty is allergic to cats.Betty is house trained, she is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Interesting in the sweet girl?
