Kenzo has been in rescue for sometime now. All he wants for Christmas is a home to call his own. Kenzo has a big dog personality and like the energizer bunny can go for hours. He loves to be outside and then come in and relax on the couch. He is best in a home with dogs his size but also like all the attention to himself, he would also do better in a home with older children.

Are you a cat person but you’ve always wanted a dog??? Deirdre ( Dede to her friends)  is the perfect dog for you because she’s basically a cat in a dog costume….  Deirdre is sweet, playful & loves attention. She is happiest hanging out on the back of the couch but she will also nap on your lap ( if she feels like it). She’s wonderful with cats, loves treats & will even stand up and beg. It’s adorable! Deirdre weighs about 30 lbs & is around 2 years old! She’s good on a leash & always happy to go for a walk!! Adopt this little Jack Russell terrier / mutt mix today!! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Puck is a really chill puppy at only 11 weeks. With this handsome boy you’ll get the best of both worlds. He’s a super snuggler and couch potato if you want him to be, but also is totally up for a hike or run! Don’t want to run? No problem! He’s a great leash walker, and perfectly fine with a casual, relaxed stroll through the neighborhood. He catches on to rules and cues fast and already knows how to sit and lie down. This cutie will also sleep through the night in his crate without any issues! Have I mention that he is awesome?!?Judging by the size of the paws, he’ll be medium sized at best. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Meet Trixie. Trixie is bonded with NALA who both came into rescue when the owner moved in to a new place and they were not allowed. They are both 4 years old spayed and fully vetted. Both get along with other animals, housetrained. Love the people Trixie loves sleeping with her human and cuddling, Nala likes to sleep in her crate. Trixie does not prefer at all a crate. She loves to be with you. She gets a little anxious and scared when she is left , so she takes a little medicine from the vet. We dont know if it is because of losing her home and what she knew. She has only been in rescue a couple weeks or so. We would like to see them stay together as Nala sucks on Trixie ears and make her feel better we think. Are you looking for a 17 lb dog that is a big time cuddler and loves to play fetch?! Mira is your girl! Mira does not discriminate! She likes dogs, cats, and kids! Mira may be initially shy with adults but don't take it to heart- she will get over her shyness with a little bit of patience then will shower you with those cuddles just mentioned! Mira shows you she is excited by jumping but responds well to corrections. She walks well on a leash and goes in her crate with treats and sleeps all night! But beware! Mira thinks shoes are chewy toys and would benefit from some basic training. Mira would love to share a home with a fur friend so bonus points if you can give her a new bestie!!
