Story
Mocha is the perfect energic when needed but chill until then. she is crate trained, both at night and for a 3-4 hr period when awake. She's not fully house trained outside of the crate, though she is signaling at this stage. Loves dogs, cats, okay with smaller children, loves the 7+ crowd. loves cuddling. Currently UTD on shots. She's good on a leash after the initial excitement of walk time, she's learning to jog in time. Her mom is a jack Russell, but her dad is unknown but most likely a hound mix. She has 4 sister and 1 brother also up for adoption, who are shorter and smaller than her. she will be a medium size dog based on her height. We are willing to do meet and greets to do an introduction. Including Travel up to 1.5 hours away. I can also help you find low-cost spayed options in your area. Per agreement with the organization, we need you able to either have her spayed or have the appointment set within 30 days.

Story
Neil a jack russell terrier mix. Born 2/22/2024. He's developed a chill and relaxed personally. He's short, long, and chunky. Currently we are estimating he will get between 25-30lbs max. He loves Kids, cats, and other dogs. He's kennel trained for the night, and currently up to 3 hours during the day. He's good on a leash. Cuddling his favorite thing ever (see pictures). He's from my foster Jack Russell terrier mix. Mom is currently not ready for adoptions. But we can bring her to meet and greets for him. We are willing to do public meet and greets to introduce him to potential families. Driving up to 1.5 hours. Reach out if you have any additional questions. I can give you information to get low-cost/free neutering near you. Per our agreement with the organization sponsoring us, we need to have him schedule for a fix within 30 days.

Story
Chewie came in to the shelter as a surrender. His former owner claimed he bit her while she was brushing him so our staff tested that. Chewie did wonderfully while being brushed for them. He has also shown no aggression toward other staff or pups. He will continue to be assessed with other pups. So far, he's a happy pup (look at that big smile).Chewie is picky when it comes to food and treats. He likes being petting and loves a squeaky toy. He is fully vetted and microchipped. He deserves another change so please come meet this boy!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application ›   This is Buster. He is 100% goodest boy! Buster is house trained, crate trained, and has excellent table manners. Buster’s idea of the perfect day is really all about quality time. Snuggles? Yes, please! Walks? Oh, yes! A shared snack? Divine! (Did I mention his table manners?!) Scritchies? Can’t get enough! Staring deeply into one another’s eyes? Absolutely! Buster has the cutest ears! And the sweetest eyes! He also grows an epic mustache if left untrimmed.  His absolute favorite thing is being outside. He would stay outside all day if he could! He loves to lounge on the grass in the sun. He has a love-hate relationship with training. He loves to please, but also acts like it was really his idea all along…! Occasionally he gets a wild hair and grabs a squeaky toy from the basket, typically just carrying it around. Sometimes he will indulge his foster in a few rounds of fetch with said toy, but it’s clear he does it out of pity for his poor foster, not because he actually enjoys it…! Like most JRTs, Buster is very smart and very opinionated. (He can grumble with the best of them! It’s honestly pretty endearing.) Buster is used to being someone’s constant companion and that is really where he thrives. At night he sleeps at the foot of his foster’s bed, under his designated fleece blanket. He follows his foster from room to room, never being more than a few feet away. (He is an excellent bathroom sentinel!) He is happiest as an only dog. He can coexist with other dogs, he gets along fine with his foster’s resident dogs, but he has a strong preference for human companions over canine companions. (Frankly, he seems to think he is a human!) He does prefer men to women, though that doesn’t seem to matter so much when there are things like walks and snacks to be had.  Buster has not been tested with cats, but will tolerate dogs. Proper introductions are important, as he can be territorial, especially with male dogs. He can also be spicy when he is feeling anxious, scared, or otherwise overestimulated. He has been around young children and done well for short periods, but a home with children would not be a good fit for him. Buster is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, and in overall good health Would you be his pawfect match?  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 6, 2024, 10:39 pm
