Story
Arizona was adopted 4 years ago as a puppy. Her litter was abandoned in a junk yard in Tucson, Arizona. Because of this she has always been very anxious and requires patience. She is extremely loving, enjoys sunbathing, learns tricks easily. Though she was raised with another dog that she loves very much, she had a short fuse and would often growl and snap at our other dog. Most recently she scratched our two year old in the face, which led to our decision to rehome her. This decision did not come easily. She is an incredible dog and is still very young. She has no medical issues and has always been extremely healthy. We are looking for somehow who will love her and understand her.

Story
Meet Spitta. He is a very loving seven year old Jack Russell Terrier. Spitta has spent most of his life with his mommie (human) and one of his sons. He’s super sweet, loves to play and he likes to snuggle. Spitta hasn’t been socialized among other people or dogs other than his offspring. He loves car rides, walks and pup cups from Starbucks. He’s looking for his forever home.

Story
Hi there! I’m Hiccup, an 8-year-old Jack Russell Terrier with a heart as big as my body is small. Despite a detour in his journey that led him to seek a new forever home, Hiccup's spirit remains as lively as ever. While he may take a little time to warm up to new faces, he'll be your most loyal companion once he does. Hiccup is an ideal match for households with other dogs, as he is friendly with all dogs he has met. His manners extend to potty time, whether it's indoors on paper or outside. He is fully potty trained. Hiccup's medium activity level means he's not always the most energetic pup on the block, but he'll be glad to join you for a relaxing afternoon at home. Hiccup prefers the freedom of not being confined to a crate but has proven himself to be a model citizen when left alone in the house. With his gentle nature and laid-back demeanor, Hiccup would thrive in a loving home where he can be given the time and space to adjust at his own pace. Lastly, Hiccup has a heart murmur and dilated cardiomyopathy with pulmonary edema. He will require lifelong medication for his condition. If you're searching for a loyal companion who's as sweet as he is spunky, look no further than Hiccup. He's ready to embark on a new adventure with a loving forever home that will cherish him for the wonderful dog that he is. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Hiccup is $365 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area. - If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!

Trixie is a very happy girl who would love a home with lots of activity!  Her ideal home would have a fenced yard to allow her to run and get that exercise in or if no fence, someone who would take her on regular nice long walks She is curious all the time! Trixie loves people and would do great with a doggy friend to play with! It's always best to bring another dog to the meet and greet to be sure it’s a good match! Trixie is a real snuggle-bug who loves napping in your lap AND even slept a couple nights in the bed (like a queen) with Foster Mom and Dad. This sweet girl would love a lap to call her own and a family to enjoy!     Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. Story
Oh how Chase is just the most adorable Jack Russel/ Chihuaha mix! This love bug is 2yrs old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Chase is a very sweet boy and dog friendly. He would do better with dogs bigger than him. He loves to play with his foster buddy who's a Golden Retriever! Because he can play rough (typical Jack Russel) other little dogs might not like his play style. Chase is true to the Jack Russel breed with having a lot of energy. But once he gets some exercise he settles right down. We will require a fenced in yard for Chase so he can run around. Also, if you're a walker, that's a great way to get a dogs enery out! If you think this sweet boy would be a great fit for your family, please fill out the adoption application on our website www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.org ##1744393##
