Location : Korea Adoption inquiries: wds3628@nate.com ▶ Relationship with dogs: Gets along with other dogs very well. However, there are times where he barks at dogs who are too aggressive or dogs who bark at them. ▶ Relationship with cats: Hasn’t been in same space with cats, but barks at cats passing by the fence. ▶ Relationship between people: Loves human and being alongside for long period. Loves meeting people when going for walks. Mary sticks her head towards people, as if wanting to be seen. Loves human more than other dogs. If other dogs run towards her owner or seems to bother them, she would bark at them to stop. ▶ Leash training: She is family and doesn’t have aversion towards harness; she enjoys them since she know it means going for a walk. Special note: As a side effect from measle, has tic symptoms, weak front legs and inablity to produce tears. Due to weak front legs, may have some amount of shaking but has no problem at all to go for a walk. Slippery floors may casue her to slip some times but other than that, there are no problems. Mary's left eye has a bit of murky makrs which are improving over time. She has been puting artifical tears to help it. Mary used to have a paralysis on left part of her, but she was desperate to heal, that she overcame it. Her strong will is making her healthier daily.

PUPDATE... I just moved to Connecticut so you can easily meet me, fall in love, and take me home! Hi there, I am an extremely sweet and nice boy named Charlie. I am about 1-½ years old, 30.4 lbs and I'm a Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi mix. I was a stray dog at the San Antonio Animal Shelter, just biding my time, wondering what my chances were of getting outta that joint when 4 Little Paws Rescue decided I could do better than Texas. My new foster mom brought me home and I think has been madly in love with me ever since. She keeps petting and snuggling me, giving me kisses, and telling me what a good boy I am and she's right. Not to toot my own horn, but I am a keeper. A family-friendly, dog-friendly sweetheart. I love to play and run Zoomies but I’m not bonkers. I have a medium-low energy level, calm and easygoing and I love my people. I love doggy toys, walks to the park, and rides in the car. I am well-behaved and housetrained, learned to use a doggy door in just 1 day, and when my foster mom leaves the house I like to sit in a chair near the window and watch for her return. When she walks in, it’s like I haven't seen her in years I’m so happy turning in circles and wagging like crazy. I’m just as sweet as can be and I am ready for the best and final chapter of my story… meeting my new family and proudly wearing my new dog collar adorned with my name and your phone number, hint-hint. Meet Whitney! An adorable little Jack Russell terrier mixed with Chihuahua to make an irresistible 13-pound puppy! Whitney is shy but friendly with everyone, and she really loves to go out on walks to explore the world-she even travels well on the train. She's white with tan spots (just like Mariah Carey's dogs), only 4 years old. She would love to be your lapdog and buddy!

The elderly owner kicked out Chunjang after neighbors who had been taking care of Chunjang moved away, leaving Chunjang shivering in fear when seeing her owner. * Toward People: Shows affection and follows people who are familiar to her, but needs time to open her heart to strangers. * Toward Dogs: Has no problems with the other dogs at the Center. Prefers to rest on her own rather than play with friends. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown since she is living with other dogs at the Center. * Potty Training: Is only pottying outdoors since she is living at the Center. 💌Special Notes💌 * Knows how to sit. He has a playful spirit and loves his toys, especially his favorite stuffed animal. Playtime is a highlight of his day, and he is always ready for a fun session of fetching or just cuddling with his toys. Benny has a gentle nature and is never aggressive—he doesn’t snap or bark at people and enjoys affection and pets, always seeking to be near his person. Although Benny is still adjusting to life in the big city, he is learning to navigate new experiences. He can be a little timid and jumpy, particularly around other dogs or unexpected things like bikes and runners, but with patience and reassurance, he continues to grow in confidence. He may occasionally growl at other dogs on walks, but this is just his way of expressing unease as he settles into his surroundings. Benny is a loyal companion and loves to stay close to his people. Benny does have some separation anxiety and may bark when left alone, and he’s not fond of the crate just yet, so a little extra time and patience may help him feel more comfortable. Despite these minor challenges, Benny is an absolute joy to be around. His sweet nature, high energy, and need for human connection make him an endearing companion for someone who is looking for a loyal and loving dog. With time and care, Benny will continue to thrive and bring love and joy into any home." Level of dog ownership experience needed:INTERMEDIATE: This dog will need significant structure and plenty of daily exercise, training, and mental stimulation – 90 consecutive minutes of movement in the morning plus potty break walks and brain games throughout the day. The adopter must have relevant primary care experience with a similar breed, temperament, and/or energy level. (Primary care experience includes ownership, fostering, or dog sitting as an adult, not a dog you grew up with.) Energy level MEDIUM: Needs a daily 60-90 minute walk or window of quick paced exercise (minimum) in addition to potty break strolls (10-30 min each). Also needs significant socializing opportunities outside the home and mental stimulation at home like tricks training practice, chew items, and puzzle toys. (This is regardless of dog size – many small breeds were designed for lots of activity and will exhibit unwanted behavior when they’re understimulated.)  Cuddle Bug LevelMedium— Likes to snuggle when he's in the mood but often stays in his own bed  Potty Trained?Yes— Few or no accidents Comfy with strangers?Sort of— Fine with meeting new people but not particularly interested, kind of shy in busy social situations like a gathering or a packed day in the park. Okay in the city?Sort of— Spooked easily by loud noises and bustling areas but walks pretty well and probably just needs more time to adjust (may be a puppy or a brand new rescue) Jumping on People to Say Hi?Medium– Jumps up only on people the dog knows when really excited. Stops with correction. Separation Anxiety?High– Completely freaks out when left alone. Barks and cries the entire time and/or destroys stuff. Crate training?Working on it– We set one up and leave the door open but rarely close it because the dog freaks out when we do. Medical statusHealthy as far as we know. Up to date on their DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines; heartworm negative; spayed/neutered; microchipped; treated with dewormer upon intake  How this dog ended up with Social Tees:Most of our dogs come via partner groups who help us save them from shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia in Tennessee or St. Thomas. There are very few spay/neuter resources there and many more animals in those areas than there are people to adopt them.
