Story
Jack the Jack Russell Terrier mix (see what we did there?) is one year old and 19 pounds of pure goodness. His unfortunate start came from backyard breeding, and he was rescued from being sold at a flea market in Swainsboro, Georgia. He and his sister are now living out their days happy, healthy, loved, and ready to find their forever homes.
Jack’s handsome white coat and tan markings are the perfect highlights to his big, bouncy ears. Just make sure that anytime an ear gets flipped backwards, you restore it to factory setting, okay? Jack has a spring in his step, and when he’s excited, he loves to jump and show off his endless energy and enthusiasm. He thinks he looks very graceful and agile with his jumpies, and we sure let him know how fun and entertaining he is with the endless giggles he brings us. Jack is a lover by nature, and his kisses are as sweet as candy.
Jack loves other dogs, cats, and kids, and everyone he meets is an instant friend to him. Jack enjoys a good wrestling match, playing with toys, and is perfecting his leash skills and learning new tricks. He’s incredibly smart, so don’t be surprised when he gets all the answers correct on Jeopardy!
Jack is ready to bring all the love and excitement he has to your home, and he is confident that he will be the perfect missing piece for your family.
Jack is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
