Story
Meet Fenway. Fenway is a very loving, loyal and cuddly dog. Fenway is approximately 7 years old and we have had him for five years. Unfortunately we can not give Fenway the time and attention that he needs due to busy schedules and kids sports/dance. Fenway is house trained but will have an occasional accident inside of left alone for a long period of time(over 8 hours) Fenway does have anxiety and runs in circles barking if someone is leaving. He is currently on anxiety meds which has seemed to help quite a bit. Other than that he loves to play with his toys, cuddle, and follow you throughout the house. As soon as you walk through the front door he comes running with a huge smile excited to see you! We hate to see him go but want the best for him and we can no longer provide that. Fenway is up to date on all shots and comes with his bed, toys, bowls etc.

Story
This precious little brindle girl is considered to be a Jack Russell dachshund mix girl and is always going to be what you call a lowrider dog in her life. She is looking for a home that is active and can take her fun puppy antics all in stride. She is a climber very similar to a little monkey and she loves to explore the great outdoors with her nose. She only moves slow when she's about ready to collapse and take a nap. She snuggles. She gets along with other dogs including a huge 100 lb Golden Retriever. She is a happy girl and did not like her photo session. It made her shy and not looking as confident as she truly is in real life. She is currently 9 lb at 12 weeks of age. We think that she was born somewhere around the middle of June. She will be perfect for a home that has a fenced-in backyard as she is not a fan of the leash yet and does need the ability to be able to run to her heart's desire. She will perhaps learn leash training easier in a harness. She is ready for adoption now and if you are ready for the excitement and activity of your life then sign up by writing to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. We anticipate her final adult weight to be in the 20 lb range PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 4, 2024, 10:14 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. DAISY was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 24th September.  We post in east coast states and Canada as we have many families adopt and are happy to make the worthwhile trip up to the rescue. We do not always have time to post all the pictures on each dogs individual page, but we do post a lot of photo's on the rescue Facebook page. Daisy is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of June 2024 and on 20th September weighed 20 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks.  She does need an active family who will ensure she gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that she needs to live a happy fulfilling life. DAISY is available for an adoption fee of $550 Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue in SEBEC, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application.
