Story
***Maddy is in a foster home right now, so she is not at the kennel. If you are interested in her, please fill out an application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you***
Darling Maddy is such a joy! She is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 18 pounds.
Maddy is a friendly, outgoing and happy girl who adores people and she's sure to make you smile with her silly antics. When she gets the zoomies, look out, it is about the funniest thing ever. Maddy has been in her foster home for a few weeks as she did have double ear surgery and is mostly deaf now. She is still just as fun, sweet and peppy as she ever was though, it certainly hasn’t changed her wonderful spirit.
Maddy gets along great with her big 80 pound foster brother, she likes to play, cuddle and kiss him, it is very sweet. She loves nothing more than to snuggle the night away on the couch watching a little tv with her family. Maddy also loves her fluffy bed by her foster mom’s computer and happily snoozes while she works. Maddy really likes to be with people, so she wants a home where someone is home a lot. She does ok in her kennel, but does not love it. She's still young and has lots of energy so she'd love an active family who can keep up with her! If you're looking for a fun, loving and silly furry friend, Maddy may be the perfect girl for you.
A home with older children who are responsible is what would be best for her, we are just so afraid if she were to sneak out the door, she wouldn’t hear for you to call her back. Her foster mom has discovered she does have a bit of a prey drive too and is very interested in little critters! A fenced in yard where she could run and play would be her dream, but it is not a requirement, she will just always need to be on her leash.
If you are interested in Maddy and are at least 21 years old, fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
