Despite past hardships, he is incredibly affectionate and just wants to be close to his person. 🐶 Good with dogs & cats 🏡 Would do best with another dog or someone home often 🧸 Just learning to play with toys 🛁 Great for baths & gentle brushing ❤️ Loves cuddles & can’t get enough pets Oisin is a gentle, low-energy dog right now, but as he gains confidence (and recovers from past malnourishment), he may become more playful. He does jump up on people and will need to learn manners, but he is very smart and listens well. He has shown incredible resilience—when he first arrived, he would duck his head when touched, but now, he’s learning that human hands bring love and comfort. His ears are covered in old bite wounds, and he still has some healing to do, but he’s already making huge strides. Oisin would thrive in a patient, loving home that will continue to build his trust in people. He’d do fine in a yard without a fence because once he bonds, he just wants to stay close to his person.

He is located in Southfield Michigan**** Please read to the end Chase is a sweet 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier looking for a loving home. Chase was rescued by his previous owners at 8 weeks old, and has been a beloved family member ever since. He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained, and is very playful, affectionate, and full of energy. He loves to play off-leash and follows his owner's commands very well. Despite his friendly nature, Chase can exhibit anxious behaviors when being groomed or going to the vet, which his owners have described as "bark-aggressive" and "snipping". With other dogs, Chase typically warms up with slow introductions. Chase has not bitten anyone, but he would do best in a single-dog household where he can be the center of attention. Chase's favorite activities include playing fetch, going on walks, and cuddling with his favorite people. He is a bright and attentive pup that is very treat-motivated and knows all of his basic commands. Chase is a wonderful companion and is sure to bring lots of love and joy to his new forever home! Chase is fixed and up to date on shots. Might be better in a home with older children. Chase might be good in another home with a dog , but once he warms up to them.
