Story
Ears up or ears down, any way you slice it, Ivy is adorable! She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 31 pounds. Ivy is a gorgeous girl with a sweet and gentle temperament. She is so affectionate and well-mannered, although she can be a little timid with new people, she warms up quickly and melts their hearts with her sweet kisses. She loves to be close and just leans in for love and attention. Ivy has the cutest speckles to go along with the most darling ears, who can resist that! Ivy would benefit from an adopter who can provide her with confidence and leadership, as she is still young and learning about the world. She will need a home where any children are respectful and at least 4 years old due to her shy nature. Ivy is a truly wonderful pup with so much love to give and she is eager to find a forever home where she can be the light of her adopter's life. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Ivy would love to meet them. She has an “all in” play style but she molds her play to accommodate the lead from other dogs, what a good girl. She may benefit from being in a home with another well socialized dog, it could really help build her confidence. If you are interested in Ivy and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
***Maddy is in a foster home right now, so she is not at the kennel. If you are interested in her, please fill out an application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you*** Darling Maddy is such a joy! She is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 18 pounds. Maddy is a friendly, outgoing and happy girl who adores people and she's sure to make you smile with her silly antics. When she gets the zoomies, look out, it is about the funniest thing ever. Maddy has been in her foster home for a few weeks as she did have double ear surgery and is mostly deaf now. She is still just as fun, sweet and peppy as she ever was though, it certainly hasn’t changed her wonderful spirit. Maddy gets along great with her big 80 pound foster brother, she likes to play, cuddle and kiss him, it is very sweet. She loves nothing more than to snuggle the night away on the couch watching a little tv with her family. Maddy also loves her fluffy bed by her foster mom’s computer and happily snoozes while she works. Maddy really likes to be with people, so she wants a home where someone is home a lot. She does ok in her kennel, but does not love it. She's still young and has lots of energy so she'd love an active family who can keep up with her! If you're looking for a fun, loving and silly furry friend, Maddy may be the perfect girl for you. A home with older children who are responsible is what would be best for her, we are just so afraid if she were to sneak out the door, she wouldn’t hear for you to call her back. Her foster mom has discovered she does have a bit of a prey drive too and is very interested in little critters! A fenced in yard where she could run and play would be her dream, but it is not a requirement, she will just always need to be on her leash. If you are interested in Maddy and are at least 21 years old, fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Doge is a Jack Russel Terrier/ Chihuahua mix that has a lot of energy and would be best with someone who has a yard that he can play in. Doge is 3 years old. Doge has epilepsy and takes medication, but is otherwise a good dog that can be protective but also very sweet.

Story
Ruby is a gem! She's a tiny little wire terrier mix with a heart of gold and energy for days. She loves attention and being held, but she also loves her toys and is an overachiever when it comes to the zoomies!  Ruby was found abandoned with her tiny newborn pups. She has brought so much joy to her foster home, along with her puppies, William and Harry. Now her pups are ready to find new homes, so Ruby is hoping to start a new chapter as well. She would love a forever home where she'll get all the love and attention she craves. Ruby is very friendly but can bark when meeting new people (she gets very excited and even pees a little sometimes). She loves to give kisses to everyone! She is very playful and likes other dogs but can sometimes be a bit too "in your face" for some dogs. She would do best in a home with a tolerant dog who doesn't mind. Ruby hasn't interacted directly with cats, but does bark at the barn cats at her foster home. We suspect she might try to chase if she had the opportunity.  Ruby has been doing well with going potty outside but does have accidents occasionally and will need to continue working on that. She does very well in her crate.     ##2131394##
