He will eat absolutely anything, and sleeps 90% of the time. He LOVES playing with his bff Nori (his brother, a jack russell mix.) he’s completely house trained and will let you know when he needs to use the bathroom as he stands by the door. He does destroy his toys, so I suggest rope or hard bones!Nori is the most loyal, sweetest boy. It genuinely breaks my heart to rehome him. He listens well and always wants attention and pets. He loves being pet, but most of all LOVES tennis balls that squeak, please buy him some. He loves naps with his brother (frankie, a boston terrier also up for adoption with him.)Nori is skiddish of loud noises especially when things are dropped. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌟🐾 Meet Astrid — CEO of Puppy Shenanigans & Professional Explorer 🐾🌟 Female • 3 Months Old • Future Perfect Medium Size If you’ve been looking for a happy, curious, tail-wagging bundle of puppy joy, allow us to introduce Astrid — a 3-month-old adventurer who wakes up every day convinced the world was created specifically for fun, snacks, and exploring absolutely everything. Astrid is a typical loving-life puppy, which means her daily schedule looks something like this: • Wake up • Zoom around like she just drank three espressos • Investigate mysterious leaves • Wrestle with dog friends • Practice being adorable • Take a dramatic nap • Repeat She’s very social, great with other dogs, and absolutely loves having playmates. If there’s another dog around willing to run, wrestle, or engage in competitive zoomies, Astrid is 100% on board. She also loves being outside exploring the big ole world — sniffing trails, investigating sticks, chasing leaves, and generally making sure no blade of grass goes unexamined. Hiking buddy in training? Definitely. Astrid loves people too, but it’s only fair to give you the official puppy disclaimer: she still comes equipped with those sharp little puppy nails and tiny shark teeth. Not malicious — just enthusiastic. The good news is she’ll grow out of that stage with a little guidance and training. Cats are currently unknown, but with her young age and proper introductions, she should adapt just fine. Astrid would be happiest with a family that enjoys being active and including their dog in the fun — walks, hiking, camping trips, backyard adventures, neighborhood strolls, and of course couch cuddles once the day’s exploring is done. Because life with Astrid will include: • Daily laughter • Random zoomies • Toy explosions • Surprise puppy kisses • And a whole lot of love In other words… exactly what puppyhood should be. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Astrid bring the adventures, the laughs, and the puppy chaos (the cute kind) into your life. 🐶💛

Story
Bougie Gal!MEET PARIS!  Ms. Paris likes to stay in the Hilton brand when she’s traveling because she loves the finer things in life. Ha! But seriously, she is a fun little dog who enjoys being in loving homes after having served her time in a shelter waiting to be adopted. Once ‘home’, she started being a dog. One that likes to do all the doggy things; like bark out the window, sleep on the couch, pull her owner around the block on walks, and eat all the yummy treats. Unfortunately, her new owner hadn’t had a younger dog in a while (she’s 6 years old) and didn’t account for the energy that a younger dog brings into a home. While not destructive, Paris was too much for her senior owner.  Now in her Tara’s House foster home, Paris is awaiting her furever family. She is still that happy girl who has a zest for life and her energy isn’t any more than average. Her foster mom reports that she is wonderful. (There are no other dogs in the home, but Paris lived with a senior cat at her adoptive home and was fine with it.) Outside the home; she is more high-strung because she didn’t have the strong leadership that her insecurities required. She also had been living the high life a little too long and needs to shed a few pounds. She currently weighs in at 24lbs, but don’t let her know we told you!  To that end, our wonderful partners at Ridgeside K9 Central MD will take Paris for their board and train program. There she will learn consistency and obedience, and will have all the foundations needed for future success. Paris’ future adopters will have a fabulously trained dog and will receive guidance on how to continue her on her learning path. Paris’ adoption donation fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org.  Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.March 9, 2026, 12:19 pm

Story
Olivia is a spayed female black Jack Russell, beagle, lab mix, born on November 18, 2025. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a heart of gold, look no further than Olivia. This sweet girl was born last fall and is ready to find her forever family. Olivia is a striking beauty with a sleek black coat, accented by 'little white socks' on her hind paws and adorable splashes of white on her underside. But it’s her personality that truly shines; she is incredibly sweet, gentle, and submissive, making her a wonderful companion for a variety of households. • Social Butterfly: Olivia absolutely loves other dogs! She has a very polite playing style and is even submissive toward cats, making her an easy addition to a multi-pet home. • Eager to Please: While she is still perfecting her potty training, she is a remarkably fast learner. Because she is highly food motivated, she’ll do just about anything for a tasty treat! • Well-Mannered: Olivia is already comfortable sleeping in her own pen at night, showing great independence and calm temperament. • Family Ready: With her soft nature and playful spirit, she has all the makings of a perfect family dog. Olivia is currently looking for a patient family who can continue her training and give her all the cuddles she deserves. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the home she’s been dreaming of? The adoption fee is $50. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/dog-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina.     Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.April 24, 2026, 8:44 am

Story
Sweet momma, Utopia, and her five day old pups were hours away from being euthanized in a small Texas animal shelter before they were rescued. Momma was scared and protective of her babies for a few days until she realized they were safe. Now she is a total lovebug! Utopia needs a patient family. She is shy and will take some time and lots of treats to be comfortable in her new home. She would do best with another confident dog to show her the ropes. She loves to run and play with other dogs so acclimating with them should be no problem. She is also cat friendly. Utopia does well in the car and walks great on a leash. She's ready for adventure and a love that lasts forever! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX adoption only)
