Hi all! I'm Freddy. I'm about seven years old, am neutered. and am the most tennis-ball-loving Jack Russell Terrier you'll ever meet! I will chase that ball as long as you throw it for me! In fact, I bring it right back to you and am always ready for you to throw it again. And if you have a tennis ball waiting for me while I am fetching the other one, we can keep going and going! I willingly trade one for the other because I love chasing them so much! Trade is a fun game for me! I'd love to find an adopter who has experience with JRTs. I'm super smart and catch onto things very quickly! The humans joke that I am a big dog in a small dog's body because I love playing fetch so much! I'm not your typical small lap-dog; cuddling really isn't my jam, although I do like to be around people, just not necessarily in everyone's bubble (unless you have that awesome tennis ball, of course!). I'm looking for an adopter who can teach me structure in a positive way! Like I said, I learn very quickly so if you are patient and willing to teach, I am willing to learn. A house with older people, most likely teenagers and older, would make me so happy! I think it'd be great to have older people to hang out and chill with. Depending on your resident dog, I may do okay! Kitties are fun to chase for me, which is not fun for them, so no kitties, please! I love daily walkies and am an on-the-go dude! Taco is the best! He's full of so much life and so much energy. He's always up for going outside to play and loves when other dogs are around. His ideal scenario is having a backyard to run around in and having other dogs around to play with. He's incredibly social with other dogs and children. He's the greatest dog on earth to play fetch with. You can throw the tennis ball with him for hours and he'll bring it back to you each time (but for some reason wants you to take it out of his mouth lol). If you're someone who wants companionship or a dog that gives you an excuse to stay active each day, Taco's your guy. It breaks me that I can't keep Taco anymore, but I'm on the road 2-3 times a month for work and am usually distracted with work even when I'm home. It's not right and Taco deserves someone who can give him the time and attention he deserves. He's well trained, housebroken and listens well. (Note: We're in NYC)
