This speckled and floppy-eared princess is Misty. She's around 13-pounds and is just a lil' thang! Once she knows you, she is a bundle of joy and fun! She will sit on your lap all day...literally. For example, when we have her up in the office with us, Misty finds an open spot with one of our employees and hangs out in their arms while they type away. If she is a bit timid when you meet her, please just be patient, she does come around and will befriend new people! Her ideal home would be one where there are only adults. She loves to be near everyone but the hustle and bustle that kiddos can bring isn't her cup of tea. A home with not much commotion and more of a low-energy household is ideal. Playing with squeaky toys is one of her favorite things to do, aside from cuddling. She has the cutest zoomies where she scoots so low to the ground and runs all over. Another fun thing for her is to burrow in blankets and give kisses to those she knows. Misty would prefer a home without kitty friends. She prefers dogs who will give her space when she asks for it; it just depends on the other dog. We do think she may prefer to have it be just her without other furry friends so she can have all your love to herself! Misty is a little under six years old and is spayed.

Hope came into the rescue a little while back and has been with two fosters so far that just could not get enough of her. Hope is deaf. We don’t even think the shelter she came from realized it because you most absolutely would not know it. Except boy can this girl sleep good. The only thing that gives away she is deaf is you can come home unload the groceries, load the dishwasher, do all the housework and if she is asleep she will never know you are there. Hope is PERFECT she is house trained, spayed and could not be a better dog than anyone could ask for. She is a little bit of an attention hog. Just wants to be with you 24/7. She is wonderful with other dogs but your dog better be ready to share your lap. Peggy Sue is ready for adoption! Peggy is a darling little 11# mix of possibly Chi/Rat terrier. At 1-2 years old Peggy has so many wonderful things to learn and experience. While Peggy was turned into a local shelter for chasing the children in the home. We did a meet with my 4 year old grandson. She can definitely keep up with him, but it wasn't chasing, more like following at his pace Peggy has been a perfect house guest. She has met many different sized dog friends and they have all gotten along well. Cats are no issue for this girl. She would happily coexist with them. Even rabbits are completely ignored. While it did take her a minute to realize I was ok we quickly became fast friends. Peggy likes to play and is active, but reads the energy in the house and settles right next to you for snuggles and down time. A secure fenced yard is required and caution must be used when opening doors as she will bolt if given the chance. Due to Peggy's size we are looking for a home with older children. Peggy has been spayed, is heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. She is also up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Peggy is ready for adventure and spending time making memories with her new family. She is crate trained and doing very well with housetraining. Peggy will make a wonderful addition to any family.
