Story
Meet Mickey, the adorable Jack Russell mix who came to Helping Paws with his mom and four siblings. Much like his sister, Mickey proudly takes on the role of the `enforcer` of the group, making sure everyone follows the rules—well, his rules! If there’s fun happening without him, you’ll definitely hear about it. Mickey *must* be part of the action, whether it’s wrestling with his siblings or playing fetch with his favorite toys.He loves chewing on his Nylabones and chasing his Kong balls around, and when he’s not busy being the life of the party, he’s melting hearts with his sweet face and those big antenna ears. If you`re looking for a playful, spirited pup who also happens to be incredibly lovable, Mickey is your guy! Contact Helping Paws to meet this little ball of joy!D.O.B: 6-11-24Mom: ClarabelleSiblings: Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Pluto

Story
Meet Daisy, the only girl in a litter full of boys—and believe me, she makes sure they *know* who`s in charge! Daisy may be the queen of her little pack, but don’t worry, she’s a perfect lady who always listens to her mom, Clarabelle. Sure, her brothers may think they’re tough, but Daisy’s got them wrapped around her paw while still staying sweet as pie with her mama. When meeting new people, Daisy can be a bit shy and reserved, but give her a minute, and you’ll see her playful side come to life. She’ll run circles around the cages like she’s training for the puppy Olympics, daring anyone to catch her. Good luck with that, by the way—this girl’s fast! But once you earn her trust, get ready for a flood of kisses and all the affection you can handle. If you’re looking for a playful, energetic pup who runs the show but also loves a good snuggle, Daisy’s your girl. Just don’t be surprised if she tries to outsmart you! Call Helping Paws if you think you can keep up with her!D.O.B: 6-11-24Mom: ClarabelleSiblings: Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Pluto

Story
Madam here, I am a happy go lucky energetic approximately one year old young lady. I am a sweet girl who loves everyone, but also requires a lot of toys as well as chew toys.I have two modes, chilling on the couch with you or bouncing around. I am looking for an active family who will keep my mind busy with walks or exploring and toys. I am working really hard on house training and have only had two accidents in the house in 5 days.I know what no, and drop it means. Sometimes I take things I shouldn`t but I drop them when asked to. I am still a baby but I learn quickly and am extremely food motivated. I am only about 10 pounds but I have long legs.I sleep in my crate overnight. I do complain about it for some time but not too loudly and I keep my crate clean. I like to go to bed with a safe chew bone so If I`m not real sleepy, I have something to do when I get bored.I really enjoy playing with the resident 3 year old Siberian Husky mix and I respect the 13 year old resident Chihuahua who doesn`t want to be bothered by me. She lets me lay by her, but I know she does not want to play and I`m ok with that. My foster parents try really hard to good pictures of me but I move around so much that they don`t turn out well unless I am in chill mode.I`m a dog and I do bark, but not often. If you think you are the people I have been searching for to be my forever family, we should meet. You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!! Adoption fee: $575 All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Story
Sushi is being fostered in CT. Sushi loves to cuddle and would love to have her own person and family; however she would do best as an only dog so she can get all the love to herself. She travels great in the car and will either sit on your lap for a short trip or in the backseat with a doggy car seat. She is housetrained and will go to the door to let you know she has to go potty. She eats like a champ and takes her insulin well. She also does great at the vet and loves her vet clinic friends. She sleeps through the night and is very easy going. Sushi is not interested in toys but loves to chew on vet approved bones. She loves to sleep on the couch with a comfy blanket, and she uses dog steps to get on. She can safely jump down as long as the floor is not slippery. I have a dog stroller for Sushi and she happily will sit in it and go for a ride or sleep in it when I am sitting at the computer. She enjoys going for short walks and gets excited when you put her leash on! She also does a very funny trot out in the backyard. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
