She is absolutely a cuddle bug at home and is good with other dogs.  This is a courtesy posting to ensure this pup lands in a great home. Story
Sugar Plum is an approximately 8-9 month-old Hound mix. She was apparently hit by a car when she was younger but was not treated. After being rescued, her leg needed to be amputated due to the damage, but this little girl is doing great. Based on her behavior now, you can see how uncomfortable she must have been.  Sugar Plum was too thin when rescued, but she is now 32 pounds, a healthy weight. She loves to take walks and play (you wouldn't know she is a tripod). Sugar is very much a   big puppy and is making up for her lost puppyhood. She’s very smart and sweet but had little to no prior training. But now, she is house-trained and crate-trained, though she isn't a fan of the crate. She is also learning to walk on a leash and is still working on that. She now knows commands like sit, down, paw, and, if lucky, a short stay. She loves meeting new people and car rides. Sugar Plum does like children, but because of her size, energy, and being a big puppy, only older children should be considered.  Sugar is a good watchdog. Hence, she’ll bark at anything she hears, and, sometimes, when she’s had enough crate time. So no apartments or condos for her. Her  ideal home will be with an active family, where she can take long walks and has a fenced yard. She also loves to lie in the sun and would love to have another dog playmate. She wants to play with other dogs so badly, but she is still learning how to play. She was able to get her foster mom's grumpy, 12-year-old pup to play with her,  There is also some separation anxiety, so another dog would be helpful. She also needs an adopter who has dog experience and understands she needs further training and patience.  She’s truly a great dog with a lot of good qualities who just needs someone to help her grow up.           An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Brookie Cookie is one super sweet baby. Some of her puppy shenanigans are going away but believe me she still has a lot, which makes her perfect. She loves toys of all kinds and can entertain herself in a pinch. She is crate trained and is potty trained if kept on a schedule. Leash walking is unknown at this time.     Her perfect home would have a young dog to teach her the ropes or a patient puppy savvy family. Expect some barking and nipping that a baby brings. She shouldn’t be left alone for longer than 4 hours since she needs socialization and trips outside to potty.   Stay tuned for updates to her journey. If you believe you are her perfect fit, please send your application in. Story
Meet Colby Jack! Colby is a happy 4 year old Jack RussellBoxer mix. Colby adores being with his people especially when he gets lots of cuddles. He leans into your leg when he's getting lovies and shows you his big smile! Colby enjoys hanging out with laid back dogs. He and his foster sister, Elly, enjoy rambling around the backyard finding new things to sniff.  He weighs approximately 35lbs which is a good, manageable size for your lap!. He loves to play with humans but may be a bit too playful for toddlers or younger children. He’s crate trained but it is not his favorite place to be. He walks well on a leash and would make a great hiking or running buddy. Colby spent the first year of his life on a chain and has really blossomed into a very loving dog who craves attention. We think Colby would do best with a family that doesn't live in a congested area with lots of noise and has another dog to play with. He doesn't care for delivery trucks entering his domain or lots of strangers. Colby is very smart but craves attention and stong leadership, He really needs a strong pack leader to help him along his journey. . He passed his professional obedience training with flying colors so he already knows the basics. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Colby is available for adoption at www.dirtroaddoggiesrescue.org         ##1087310##

Story
Pepsi is a young Miniature Pinscher/Terrier looking for his forever family! He has a beautiful brindle coat with black, brown, and white coloring. He&#39s estimated to be 8mo old, and weighs 17lbs. He will continue to grow and mature, and could be a small to medium sized dog. Pepsi is dog and cat friendly - he currently resides with 3 other dogs and cat in his foster home and loves to play with them! He is currently working on his crate training and potty training, and has picked up on his basic commands. Like any young puppy, Pepsi does have a high energy level and will need a fenced yard where he can spend his days running and playing. He would also benefit from another playful pup in his forever home. Pepsi came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after spending time at an overcrowded shelter, and it was evident that he had not lived a great life previously. This sweet boy will make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a loyal and fun-loving pup! He is eager to please and very obedient - he would excel in a home that will continue to provide his basic training. Pepsi is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting this sweet boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.January 3, 2025, 6:28 pm

Story
Dollar was purchased from a Jack Russell farm. He’s an amazing dog. He’s not aggressive, house trained, protective of kids, and he’s will not just jump up on you if you tell him no. I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and can no longer care for Dollar. I’m now allergic to the pet dander, not able to groom or care for him in anyway at all. Which really is very sad and not fair to Dollar. Dollar needs to go to a family that will take care of him and love him. He loves doing zoomies. He loves to be loved on. Please save Dollar. I can no longer give him his needs at all.
