Despite his condition, he’s a playful puppy who loves to romp around and have fun, but he’s also a cuddle bug who adores napping on you. Hollywood will need to wear a diaper for the rest of his life, but his joyful spirit and affectionate nature more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a devoted and playful companion who’s ready to fill your life with love, Hollywood is your guy! Sushi is being fostered in CT. Sushi loves to cuddle and would love to have her own person and family; however she would do best as an only dog so she can get all the love to herself. She travels great in the car and will either sit on your lap for a short trip or in the backseat with a doggy car seat. She is housetrained and will go to the door to let you know she has to go potty. She eats like a champ and takes her insulin well. She also does great at the vet and loves her vet clinic friends. She sleeps through the night and is very easy going. Sushi is not interested in toys but loves to chew on vet approved bones. She loves to sleep on the couch with a comfy blanket, and she uses dog steps to get on. She can safely jump down as long as the floor is not slippery. I have a dog stroller for Sushi and she happily will sit in it and go for a ride or sleep in it when I am sitting at the computer. She enjoys going for short walks and gets excited when you put her leash on! She also does a very funny trot out in the backyard. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Chika and Ollie were surrendered due to their parents passing away. These dogs are bonded and have been pampered their whole lives. We would like to find them adopters that will do the same thing. Chika and Ollie are both typical lap dogs. They are great companions and love to cuddle. Ollie is 10 years old and Chika is 8. We would love for them to find a home together. They are really laid back dogs and do not require any exercise but they do love adventures. They used to live on a property with a few acres. They have no health issues and are up to date on all vaccinations and spayed/neutered. They are both ready to find their forever homes now. ##2098095##

Jack Jack is URGENT - must find a home before October 15th. Jack Jack is a star!!! No, really! You might recognize him from his years performing in Sea World's Pet's Ahoy show. Sadly, the Covid pandemic lock downs forced the show to close and Jack Jack found himself an unemployed actor looking for a retirement home. A nice man adopted him and he has been living in a home the last four years, but unfortunately his owner is moving to Europe on October 15th and has had to make the difficult decision that it won't be possible to take him along. Jack Jack is housebroken, crate trained and dog friendly. No kitties, please. Because Jack Jack was a performer most of his life, his favorite ways to interact with new people are to do tricks for them in exchange for treats or to bring them his favorite ball or toy to play. He doesn't like when people he doesn't know that well try to touch him or pick him up, but he is great with strangers who understand that his love language is to work and are happy to give him treats for doing tricks and play ball with him. Once he knows and trusts you, he is a very cuddly, affectionate dog to HIS person. For this reason, we do not think small children who are unable to understand how to take things slow would be a good match for Jack Jack - mature children 13+ or a quiet, adult only home would be best. Even though Jack Jack is 7, he is an energetic, working drive terrier that will need lots of activity, play, training and stimulation. He would likely be too much energy and work for most older people looking for a small companion. Prior Jack Russell or other terrier breed experience preferred but not required.
