Story
Meet the most fabulous tripod! Hello there! My name is Matilda, and I'm a resilient 3-year-old, 14-pound spayed female terrier mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that can't be held back. I may be a tripod, but trust me, I've got more love and zest for life than you can imagine. I had a rough start, found in TJ walking on my hind legs due to unbearable pain in my front legs. Thanks to the care and love of my rescuers, I'm now on the road to recovery. I have a bone fungal infection that requires ongoing medical attention, and I visit the Vet Specialist regularly. Don't worry, it's not contagious, and I'm on top of my medications – Terbinafine ~$15.00 for a month's supply, Voriconazole ~$115.00 for 1 month supply, depending on market value and where purchased. Dasuquin to support joint mobility ~$41.00 for 3 months supply depending on market value and where purchased-- all to keep me happy, healthy, and moving. I am fully bathroom and leash trained. Now, let me tell you a bit about my wonderful personality. I am dog that loves people, and does not love other dogs or cats. I want to be the shining star! I'm what they call a Velcro dog – I'll follow you everywhere, matching your energy whether you're in the mood for play or relaxation. I do have some anxieties, especially around new people and animals, so patience is key. Loud trucks and pushy pets aren't my favorite, and I prefer to have my humans' love all to myself. Despite my initial reservations, once I know you, I'm the ultimate companion, ready to be by your side 24/7. I'm pretty easygoing, enjoying lounging on the couch, basking in the sun, and playing with my toys by myself. I'd thrive in a quiet home with my own space, as an only dog. In essence, I'm a gem of a dog, and I'm looking for a loving family to share my life with. If you're ready for a dog who will shower you with love and bring endless joy into your home, please consider giving me a chance. I promise, you won't regret it! If you work from home, that's even better – I need a potty break every 4ish hours. I'm okay being alone for about 4 hours, either crated or uncrated, but I do like to get my morning zoomies out and play with my stuffed animals. I should be in a home with children 10 years and older only. If you're interested in making me a part of your family, please reach out right away! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ Follow me on IG @tapinwithMatilda ##1765244##

Story
It will be all oh-kai! Hi there! My name is Kai, and I’m a 4-year-old, 43-pound spayed Terrier mix. I was scooped up in Rosario, Mexico, where I was found underweight and living on the streets. I’ve come a long way since then and am ready to find my furever home! I’m a total sweetheart once you’ve earned my trust. I’ll then be your best friend and will be excited every time we see each other! I’m a high-energy gal, and I enjoy being your running buddy on runs through the neighborhood. My other favorite activities include chasing my Chuckit! ball, eating, playing tug-o-war, and sniffing for treats. I’m now fully potty-trained and crate-trained. Leash training is a work in progress, though, since I tend to pull a lot. My biggest challenge, however, is my stranger danger. I tend to become anxious and on high alert once I get outside of my comfort zone. No separation anxiety here, though, especially when I’m left behind with another doggie friend to play with. My ideal household would be a quieter home that had familiar people coming in and out. I’d love a nice backyard to play in, and I’d do just fine as either the only dog or with a well-rounded, confident doggie sibling. No kitties or children, please.  Other than that, a lot of patience and love will help me become my best self! My adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.   ##1143469##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bowser Bo AKA 'Whiskey' is a 3yr old Jack Russell/Parson Russell Terrier Mix weighing in at approx 25-30lbs. Whiskey originally came to us a relinquish from the Humane Society a couple of years ago and sweet boy was quickly adopted. Unfortunately, his adopter is moving out of state for work and cannot find accommodation that will allow him to bring his dogs so we are looking for a new home for him. As a JR Terrier Mix, Whiskey is a smart, fun loving boy, who is good with other dogs and loves to swim and go for rides with his owner. He can be a little reactive when on leash and does warning bark when strangers come to the door. Whiskey is looking for an active home, with owners who are looking for his breed's temperament and intelligence. Whiskey is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Story
Jojo is a sweet, calm, and affectionate companion who loves nothing more than cuddling up in a cozy bed or blanket. He’s a laid-back, social pup who enjoys relaxing in sunny spots and going for leisurely walks. Whether it’s napping in his favorite sleeping position or lounging around, Jojo’s content with simple pleasures. While Jojo is reserved around other dogs, he’s non-aggressive and prefers to be left alone. He’s tolerant of cats but tends to ignore them. Around children and strangers, Jojo is cautious yet calm, taking his time to warm up and showing a curious interest in meeting new faces. Jojo’s ideal home would be one with a family-friendly environment, perhaps with other pets to offer some companionship. He would love a secure yard where he can relax and explore—though keep an eye on him since he’s a bit of an experienced climber! His favorite treats are peanut butter, soft chews, and crunchy biscuits, which he enjoys during his favorite snack time. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate, and easygoing companion, Jojo could be the perfect addition to your home! ##2280345##

Story
At first glance, Jax may seem a little nervous and even a bit shy, but spend a little time with this handsome guy, and you'll discover a loyal companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin. Jax is a smart boy who knows his surroundings and the people around him. He needs time and space to feel comfortable and confident in a new environment, but once he feels safe, his affectionate side emerges, and he'll be your best friend. He absolutely loves other dogs and would do amazing in a house with another furry friend. Watching other dogs teaches him so much, which will help the desensitization process of the home environment immensely. He will be dragging a leash until you can interact with him comfortably and will need a crate to keep a structured schedule. Once he settles in, though, he loves to lounge in the sun and cuddle at your feet! With his smarts, loyalty, and adorable nervousness, Jax will melt your heart and fill your home with love. If you can give Jax the love and care he needs, please meet him today! Give him a chance, and you will not regret it!
