Story
Currently in Vancouver!!! Meet Macy, a delightful 5-year-old spayed female terrier mix with an adorable brown and white coat, weighing in at 6.5kg. She’s the perfect combination of charm and tranquility, and her personality is sure to steal your heart. Macy might be a bit shy at first, but offer her a treat, and she’ll warm up in no time—letting you pet her and even showing her belly! While she’s not a fan of sudden movements or loud noises from children under 13, she’s otherwise gentle and approachable. She’s even comfortable being picked up when cradled properly. When it comes to other dogs, Macy is polite and curious, happily greeting them but preferring to stick to herself rather than joining in on rough-and-tumble play. She’s more at ease with dogs her size or smaller and tends to shy away from big or overly energetic ones. Even when provoked, Macy is the peacekeeper, quietly stepping away and showing little interest in canine drama. On walks, her focus is fully on her human, even when cats cross her path! Macy has a wonderfully low energy level and loves nothing more than relaxing at home. She’s a dream on walks, never pulling on the leash and happily matching her pace to yours. She’s quiet as a mouse, doesn’t guard her food, and is perfectly comfortable in a crate. While car rides can be a bit daunting for her, she’ll do fine if carried into the vehicle. Plus, she’s 100% potty trained for outdoor living—no mess, no stress! Macy’s foster journey has been incredible. Having started as a timid soul, she’s spent six months with a trainer and has made tremendous strides in overcoming her fears of people. Now, she confidently shows her belly to strangers and enjoys affection from those around her. She knows basic commands like “come,” “sit,” and “paw,” and while she’s calm at home, she’s always ready for a cuddle or a stroll with her favorite humans. Maxy is great with grooming too—nail trimming, bathing, and even teeth brushing are no problem! If you’re looking for a mellow, sweet companion who’s ready to love and be loved, Macy might just be the perfect match for you! Story
Meet Daisy! This sweet 2-year-old spayed terrier mix weighs 7.5kg and is a rescue pup from euthanasia. Daisy is a social butterfly who adores people, whether they’re familiar faces or complete strangers. She’ll happily approach for pets and cuddles, even showing her belly to new friends. She’s easy to handle and doesn’t mind being picked up, even letting you scoop her up with your arms under her belly. When it comes to other dogs, Daisy is just as friendly. She loves greeting canine friends—big, small, or anywhere in between—and is always up for a play session. People are her ultimate priority, though; if you’re nearby, you’ll always have her attention! Daisy’s reaction to cats and birds depends on their behavior. Calm cats don’t faze her, but she’s naturally curious about those that run away. However, with a bit of guidance, she quickly redirects and follows your lead. With a slightly above-average energy level, Daisy thrives in active households where she can stay busy and engaged. She loves the outdoors and will happily accompany you on walks, though she does have her own ideas about which way to go. Thankfully, she’s easy to guide and makes a fantastic adventure buddy. Daisy is polite about food and doesn’t guard it, whether it’s around people or other dogs. Occasionally, she’ll bark to get your attention when she wants something, often just to remind you she’s there! She’s crate-trained and loves having her own space to relax, often choosing to rest inside on her own. Daisy also enjoys car rides and can hop in and out with a little assistance due to her short legs. Mostly a fan of outdoor potty breaks, Daisy’s adaptable, fun-loving personality and playful spirit make her a wonderful addition to an active family. If you’re ready for a loyal, energetic companion who’ll shower you with love, Daisy might just be your perfect match!
