Hi, I’m Pauline!
I’m a cheerful and lovable one-year-old Terrier mix with a fluffy white coat and a heart full of affection. Weighing around 10kg, I’m an energetic and playful pup who’s always ready for a fun adventure. My journey started in a shelter in Masan, where my mother gave birth to me and my four siblings. Unfortunately, she was too sick to survive, leaving us behind to fend for ourselves. But now, I’m here, hoping to find a forever home that will give me all the love I never got as a baby.
My PersonalityI’m an incredibly sweet and good-natured dog who loves people and enjoys making new friends. While I may act a little shy at first, it doesn’t take long before I start wagging my tail and leaning in for pets. I’m a bit of a goofball, often acting silly and playful, but I have a heart as pure as gold. I may not be the smartest pup in the world, but what I lack in wit, I make up for in love and loyalty. I don’t have an aggressive bone in my body—I approach everything and everyone with curiosity and kindness.
Social SkillsWith people, I might act reserved for the first few moments, but once I get a sense of warmth and safety, I’m quick to let my guard down. I even let strangers pick me up without a fuss! With other dogs, I’m friendly and easygoing, though I tend to avoid overly energetic or pushy dogs. I like to observe before engaging, and while I may not always be the first to initiate play, I enjoy the company of calm and gentle dogs. I haven’t had any experience with cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react.
Energy and Activities
I have a fairly high energy level, meaning I thrive on outdoor playtime and exercise. Running around, chasing toys, and exploring new places make me happy! However, since I haven’t had much experience with structured walks, I still get nervous about new environments. Sometimes, if I encounter something unfamiliar, I may freeze or lie down until I feel safe again. With consistent training and encouragement, I’ll gain confidence and become a great walking buddy in no time.
Training and HabitsI’m still learning the ropes when it comes to structured training, but I’m eager to please and respond well to positive reinforcement. I do have a habit of barking when I want attention or when I meet new people, but I settle down quickly once I realize everything is okay. I also have a bit of a goofy, clueless side, so I need a patient family who will guide me with gentle encouragement rather than strict discipline. While I may not pick up commands as quickly as some dogs, I make up for it with my affectionate and charming personality.
My Ideal HomeI’d love to be in a home where my playful and gentle nature is appreciated. I’d do well with a family who understands that I’m still learning and needs a bit of guidance when it comes to new experiences. A home with another friendly and calm dog would be great for me, but I can also thrive as the only dog if I get enough love and attention.
