MEET JACK #11!!! Jack is a sweet boy who would do best with a female dog about his own size, or as an only dog. He does love to play! Jack loves to learn and learns new things quickly! Jack is not real fond of strangers so he will do best in a home that does not have a lot of new people coming into the home on a regular basis. Meeting new people is just a bit too scary for him. Jack is house trained, crate trained and walks well on a leash. We recommend only older, (teen+) considerate children be in the home. Greg was adopted as a puppy and enjoyed many years as the center of attention as the only dog in a home with two retirees. His owners have health issues which make them unable to care for him anymore. Family members tried to take him in, but he has not been a good fit for their home where he competes for attention with young kids and another dog after being left home alone all day. Greg is very patient with kids, but he would rather be a fun uncle who gets to play and then leave. He likes having dog friends, but he would rather not have one as a roommate. He would be a great companion for someone who is retired or works from home as he can get anxious when left alone. Although he spends most of the day lounging around, he does like to play ball and wrestle. Oh, and how cute are his ears?! Greg is good on a leash and behaves in public. He loves to eat and will steal food off your plate when you are not looking. He does have a sensitive stomach and needs grain free food that is chicken or poultry based. He also has a mild grass allergy that is controlled with Benadryl when needed. He is smart and knows basic commands, but he is also stubborn and will grumble at you when he is displeased. With the right home, he is a well-behaved dog who just wants to be with his person or people all day.
