Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!     Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!   Pet Description:  Baby Boy is a 2-3 yr old male Jack Russell Terrier mix, 16 lbs.  Originally came to us as a stray, adopted but returned for being too high energy and chewing up things in the house.  High energy is pretty normal for a Jack Russell so an active family is a must and just wait for the fun to begin with his antics.  He is also a runner, so a good fence is necessary to keep him home safe. He is generally good with other dogs, but like many male terriers can be rather dominant so best with a female dog as a buddy.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  (hselco@bellsouth.net)  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe. Story
I was given Sam 1 week after my fur baby had passed away. He was 6 months old. He’s a great pup dog and I do love him so much but due to the circumstances we just never bonded. I want better for Sam. I want him to have a family he is bonded to. He deserves that. I love him and he’s the most precious pup dog. He’s smart, obedient, loving, and calm. He’s kennel trained and potty trained. He doesn’t bark or whine or run away. I wish so badly we were bonded and I want to be selfish and keep him anyway but it just isn’t fair to him. He deserves attention and love and cuddles.
