Story
Hey there! I'm Taz! I'm a young and handsome husky that was surrendered to the shelter with my sister Trixie because we weren't getting along with the cat in the home. We were then adopted out and returned not long after for being too hyperactive. That being said, I've found myself homeless again and am searching for my new forever home! I have lived with kids in the past, and I am very friendly with them, but I am a jumpy and mouthy boy sometimes, so I would do best in a home with older kids that are used to being around high-energy dogs. I love to go for walks and play in the yard with my sister and also enjoy getting pets and attention from time to time as well! I have A LOT of energy and really need a home with a land or a fenced-in yard preferably! I also will need some serious work on my manners when it comes to jumping and being mouthy. I have not really grown out of my puppy antics yet, so I could use some training for sure! Experienced dog owners are a must for me, and I will need lots of time and patience adjusting to home life again. My sister and I are not a bonded pair, but we love each other so, so much! We would love to go to place that is willing to have twice the fun and take us both home. If not, that's okay too! We have a tendency to team up on other dogs when we're together, so if we do go home together, it would need to be in a home that doesn't have other dogs in it already. If I am adopted separately, there may be a dog out there that I could share my home with given it is a good fit. Staff and volunteers give me as much love as they can here, but I would really love to have a home of my own again where I can run and play to my heart's content! Could that be with you? I would love to meet you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 77 Age: 1yrs 5mths 0wks

You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on November 1st and arrive on November 2nd, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Joy was abandoned by her previous owner who moved away. She was left in a small pen with no food or water & without proper shelter. This gorgeous girl is so sweet and playful, she is ready for adventures with her forever family and getting all the love she deserves! She loves other dogs and kids!    Updated: 10/11/24 Dog Name: Joy Sex: Female Estimated Breed Mix: Siberian Husky mix Approximate Age: 2 Years Approximate Weight: 47 lbs Description: Joy was abandoned by her previous owner who moved away. She was left in a small pen with no food or water & without proper shelter. This gorgeous girl is so sweet and playful, she is ready for adventures with her forever family and getting all the love she deserves! She loves other dogs and kids!  Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are 6 months to 1 year or age. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.  at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. October 16, 2024, 8:18 pm
