It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Nue originally came to us from a seizure situation at a sled dog facility. She had only ever known time on the chain and was almost completely feral to humans. She spent a significant amount of time in her foster home before she was adopted where she continued to flourish. Due to a life-changing situation, the adopter was no longer able to keep Nue so her original foster graciously took her back knowing this was the only other home that she had known. Too much of the foster’s surprise she was a completely different dog when returning. She is more confident and more trusting, although she’ll still need a home that understands that she takes a little time to warm up, but after she does, she will vocally tell you how excited she is to see you and even come to you for attention. Nue is a fun loving girl, who needs a good human to help her live a good life. She is a quirky girl and loves a strong routine. She loves spending time outside and would love a fur friend to keep her company!

Story
Hi everyone, my name is Hunter! I`m a sweet and friendly boy looking for a family to call my own! My friends here at the shelter say I`m a certified good boy, and I have no reason to believe otherwise. I`ve lived with small kids and other dogs before, and gotten along with both of them. I really just love to play, I don`t care who my playmate is! I`m crate trained and potty trained, but my future adopters will still need to work with me to learn the rhythms of my new home. Sometimes loud noises can frighten me, but I`m a very brave boy otherwise. If you`re looking for a playful, friendly, and well-mannered boy (and you`re ready to deal with all my fur!), then I might be the one for you! Come visit my friends in the adoption center to learn more about me! Medical History: This dog has a reported history of epilepsy from his previous home. The exact cause of the seizures is unknown, and he isn`t currently on any medications for it. He appears to be happy and healthy at this point in time, but it is our recommendation that adopters speak to their veterinarian about this history prior to adoption. Weight: 51.6 lbsAdoption Fee: $375 + TaxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

Story
Serenity, also known as CiciHuskyFemale5 years oldGood with dogs and very shy of peopleCici was a surrender from an Amish farmer that the state closed down due to neglect and bad conditions. She was used for breed purposes only. We believe she had at least 8 litters. Cici needs a home with another playful pup, and a fenced-in yard is a must.Cici has a heart condition, and because of that, she can not be spayed. There is a surgery to correct it, but their is a high chance she may not make it through the procedure. We have decided to let her live out her days, and we want her to have the very best. Cici is very sweet but is shy of people petting her. This girl has not 1 mean bone in her body. She is a dog that loves to lay in front of a door and soak up the warm sun. She is currently being fostered with lots of other dogs and small kids.apply at wbdr.org
