Story
Serenity, also known as CiciHuskyFemale5 years oldGood with dogs and very shy of peopleCici was a surrender from an Amish farmer that the state closed down due to neglect and bad conditions. She was used for breed purposes only. We believe she had at least 8 litters. Cici needs a home with another playful pup, and a fenced-in yard is a must.Cici has a heart condition, and because of that, she can not be spayed. There is a surgery to correct it, but their is a high chance she may not make it through the procedure. We have decided to let her live out her days, and we want her to have the very best. Cici is very sweet but is shy of people petting her. This girl has not 1 mean bone in her body. She is a dog that loves to lay in front of a door and soak up the warm sun. She is currently being fostered with lots of other dogs and small kids.apply at wbdr.org

Story
Echo is a husky mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Texas with a broken leg. After weeks of splinting, the bones weren't healing properly and we made the difficult decision to amputate. She has been slowly learning how to trust people again thanks to a loving foster home and a tripod foster brother to show her the way. Echo is a sweet mild manner young husky who hardly makes a sound! She doesn't let the fact that she's a tripod slow her down or impede her ability to get around. Echo is a very smart girl who is house-trained and knows her commands. She loves exploring the backyard and the company of her foster's dogs. Echo is very affectionate and would love to be in a quiet, laid-back household. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Cast your line and get ready to reel in Catfish! She is sure to make a splash right into your heart.Catfish is a 3-year-old Siberian Husky/mix. Catfish is a gorgeous gal with striking blue eyes. In true Husky fashion, Catfish is a intelligent, sassy lady looking for her forever home. Catfish LOVES to be outside, and would make an amazing adventure buddy for an outdoorsy lifestyle!Catfish has been spending time in one of our wonderful foster homes, where we have been able to learn a lot more about her. Catfish is dog social, and may enjoy living with another dog. She does well around cats, mainly ignoring them. Catfish is incredibly food motivated, and has been working on perfecting her "sit" and "shake"!Catfish is looking for an adult only home without children, with extensive dog knowledge and experience. Catfish can be sensitive to touch (especially her paws) and restraint, and will need a patient adopter willing to continue to go slow with her. Catfish is working on muzzle training in order to make certain situations (like trips to the vet) easier and less stressful for her.If you are interested in meeting Catfish, please fill out an adoption application on our website, or contact us at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com!
