Story
Sky is ready to woooooo his way into your heart!Sky is a flashy husky mix that came to Fox Valley Humane as a stray, and is eager to find a new place to call home! This curious fellow is sure to keep you on your toes with his typical husky antics, and he enjoys a good butt scratch! Sky has done well meeting other dogs at the shelter, but has proven uncomfortable when living with them. While he may enjoy having a dog friend or two as walking buddies, he is looking to be your only pet!Sky is neutered, and has received core vaccinations (Bordetella, Canine Distemper, Rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped.Don`t hesitate to give us a call at 920-733-1717 or email us at adopt@foxvalleypets.org for more information!

Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hey there! I'm Taz! I'm a young and handsome husky that was surrendered to the shelter with my sister Trixie because we weren't getting along with the cat in the home. We were then adopted out and returned not long after for being too hyperactive. That being said, I've found myself homeless again and am searching for my new forever home! I have lived with kids in the past, and I am very friendly with them, but I am a jumpy and mouthy boy sometimes, so I would do best in a home with older kids that are used to being around high-energy dogs. I love to go for walks and play in the yard with my sister and also enjoy getting pets and attention from time to time as well! I have A LOT of energy and really need a home with a land or a fenced-in yard preferably! I also will need some serious work on my manners when it comes to jumping and being mouthy. I have not really grown out of my puppy antics yet, so I could use some training for sure! Experienced dog owners are a must for me, and I will need lots of time and patience adjusting to home life again. My sister and I are not a bonded pair, but we love each other so, so much! We would love to go to place that is willing to have twice the fun and take us both home. If not, that's okay too! We have a tendency to team up on other dogs when we're together, so if we do go home together, it would need to be in a home that doesn't have other dogs in it already. If I am adopted separately, there may be a dog out there that I could share my home with given it is a good fit. Staff and volunteers give me as much love as they can here, but I would really love to have a home of my own again where I can run and play to my heart's content! Could that be with you? I would love to meet you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 77 Age: 1yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Name: Maverick Age: 2.5 Breed: Husky mix Gender: male Weight: 70 lbs Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: no cats, please! Crate trained: yes Leash trained: yes Current on vaccinations: yes Fixed: yes Foster location: Freedom Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: $400 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork Bio: If you love huskies but are usually deterred by their reputation for chaos and barking, Maverick is your man! He is way more low-key and far less vocal than the typical husky mix. He is great with kids, kennel trained, and walks well on a leash. He'll sleep in a kennel overnight or in bed with you, or really, will cuddle anywhere you are. He was adopted out of a shelter in Texas but then was returned with hot sauce in his eyes and concerns about his care. He was kept in the shelter as evidence for 6 months while his owners were charged, so he is more than ready to find his forever family! Considering what he has been through, he is super sweet and trusting. His height does make it easy for him to snag a treat off the counter and he prefers to guard his food, but is not food aggressive or jumpy. He sits nicely on command, takes treats gently, and doesn’t chew. Being in the shelter off and on means that although he is mostly potty trained, he will still need to learn the rules of the new house so he can be successful. He has the best smile and would be great in your next family picture! Just no cats or apartments, please, so he can be your best boy:) Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based rescue. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. Preapproval applications for future adoption are welcome.November 10, 2024, 9:43 pm

Story
Name: Brody Age: 1 Breed: Husky mix Gender: Male Weight: 50 lbs Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: 1st time being around cats, so far, yes, but this could change Current on vaccinations: Yes Alteration date: 10.23.24 Foster location: Berlin Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: $400 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Brody earned his freedom from a local shelter to help him ease into a loving home to help prepare him for when he's finds his new family. So far, we are learning that he is super nervous/anxious when sitting in the front seat but does amazing if he gets to sprawl out in the back seat. Brody did get to meet a bunch of cats when we got home but to our surprise he didn't show any interest in them. As for being put in a kennel at bedtime, all of his husky protesting personality came out. You just need to stick it out for a little bit because he will calm down and realize everything is OK before turning off all his singing to fall asleep. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved.November 15, 2024, 8:09 am
