Story
Naira is a sweet and loving girl. She is loyal and affectionate. However we have to rehome her because she really needs a fenced in yard. She has nipped at a delivery personal, any she nipped someone on their bike. Because of this our insurance will not cover us and we can’t afford a fence. This is heart breaking for us but is our best option. She knows basic commands, and is potty trained, no accidents in the house. Some things to consider: Fenced in yard a must When on a walk she can be reactive and needs a firm handler She likes her space when at rest, children need to be mindful of this, she has not bit any children but she will give a warning yelp of small children are not giving her space when she is at rest She is over all an affectionate and loving family dog

Story
Looking to rehome- 3.5 yo male neutered, up to date on vaccines. Home with older kids or no kids preferred. Not aggressive, but has anxiety around young kids which is why we need to find him a new loving home. Had a bad past where he isn't too keen on men, but once he gets used to them, he's fine. Good with other dogs and cats. Very cuddly. Did a DNA test and he is mostly a husky chihuahua mix and is 30 pounds.

Story
Meet Jasper, a sweet puppy who was abandoned in the middle of a cotton field. Thankfully, kind farm owners rescued him and brought him to a nearby rural Texas shelter. Despite his rough start and facing death row, Jasper remains loving and always happy. He has made many friends, both human and canine, and adores kids and belly rubs. FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.

You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on July 12th and arrive on July 13th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 6/24/2024 Dog Name: Shiner Sex: Male Estimated Breed Mix: It's hard to say what this litter's breed truly is, but we know they're 100% adorable!! Bud and Miller look like Black Mouth Cur, Stella and Shiner look a bit husky, and Amber and Ale look like they could have some Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in them. Approximate Age: 9 weeks Approximate Weight: 7 lbs Litter: 6 Pack Description: Shiner and his 5 siblings were dumped in a cotton field. They are lucky enough that the farmer who found them has a good heart, unfortunately most dogs and cats dumped in farming fields are lost to wildlife or euthanized on the spot. This litter is so fun and sweet, they love to cuddle and are adorable! This little six pack was lucky to find a temporary Texas rescue and foster- they are now enjoying summer and ready to make their way up to Wisconsin! Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. July 6, 2024, 4:24 pm
