Story
Bear is a 6 year old Wooly Coated Siberan Husky looking for a new home. Bear is healthy, neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Bear is a constant companion and loves snuggling with his family - he will lay on your feet if there's no room on the couch. Like many huskies Bear has a great attitude about going outside during our Wisconsin winters and will not protest going outside to potty in January. He loves eating ice cubes! Bear has lived successfully with a young child and has interacted with other children in the family - he may do best with school age children. Bear is being rehomed because he is incompatible with another male dog living in the home. He has been peacefully coexisting with an older female dog but may do best as your one and only pet- he would love having his human family members all to himself. Bear has been groomed by the team at Petco twice a year and will come with a sponsored grooming as an adoption gift. He does really well on his kibble, so his family wi

Story
Alaska is itching to find his new family! He’s a very high energy boy and would do well in a family who enjoys being active and can keep his young brain busy. Alaska is the king of confused head tilts and looking adorable! He’s excited to meet everyone and is very polite about introductions despite his high energy level. He’s still working on his socialization skills with other dogs, and would need to meet any future canine brothers and sisters before going home with you. Alaska can’t live with cats since he thinks that they’re toys for him to play with. We believe he would do well with children who are older and will enjoy running and jumping around with this goofy boy! Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html) - Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions. - Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs. **Kittens are required to be adopted in pairs, unless there already is a cat in the home. If the cat in the home is 10 years or older, this two-kitten policy will apply.

Name: Bandit Age: 10 Breed: Husky x Gender: Male Weight: 60 Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: So far, Yes Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Appleton Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Bandit's world changed when the human he loved his whole life, passed away. Leaving this beautiful senior without a family or a home. Bandit arrived just as our first nasty winter storm hit, and was too nervous to walk around. Leaving his new foster lady to carry him against the 50mph freezing winds. Heroic right? It took no time at all for Bandit to feel safe and happy. He greatly loves getting his neck scratched and will melt right into you for more. His fellow dog roommates have been of no concern, as well as the resident cat! While we are still adjusting it's safe to say Balto is an absolute love. He does sing the song of his breed, when it comes to being kenneled. But, we'll test the boundaries of if it's necessary when the time comes. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved.December 5, 2024, 3:12 pm

Story
Meet Phineas - the ultimate chill buddy who knows how to relax but still has a playful side! At nearly 15, he's in the autumn of his life, but don't let that fool you - this handsome guy still enjoys his daily walks and carrying toys around like a pro (and he'll happily give them up when asked). Phineas is the perfect balance of laid-back and loving, always ready to snuggle up with anyone who gives him a little attention. He's a superstar in his crate and is good around to kids, especially those 10 and older. Plus, he's totally cool with cats! Phineas has spent his golden years learning to trust people, and now he's a social butterfly who loves meeting new friends. He's the type of dog who wants to be your quiet companion, soaking up all the love in a low to medium energy home where he can relax and be the center of attention. If you're looking for a mature, loving, and easy-going dog to share your peaceful days with, Phineas is your guy!
