Story
Coey is a 2 year old mixed breed, who weighs 50 pounds of pure athleticism. Whether you're into trail runs, hiking, or scenic car rides, Coey is eager to join. This golden boy loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors, and he's happiest when he's doing it alongside his favorite people. Although Coey is built for adventure, he remains calm and well-mannered in public, making him a fantastic companion on outings. He's crate trained, great with kids, and has a friendly streak that makes him eager to meet new people along the way. Like us all, Coey has his quirks. He's a picky eater, with a complex palate that seems to change often. You can't blame him for wanting a little variety! Adjusting to a new home means learning new potty routines. He is fully housebroken in his foster home, but an adoptive home should expect a few accidents while he gets used to his new environment. While he loves to make dog friends, he prefers them to be on the calm and submissive side-no dominant males, please! Coey's also a bit of a Houdini, so he'll need a secure 6-foot privacy fence or someone willing to keep him leashed and supervised when outside. If you're ready for an intelligent and loyal companion to hit the trails with, Coey is your guy. He's waiting for the perfect home that can match his curious spirit and give him the love he deserves. Rey of Hope Rescue is a locally based dog & cat rescue in Milwaukee serving all of SE Wisconsin. We are passionate about helping you find the best pet match for your home. WI License # DS-536355

Story
My name is Denver, it's no surprise I have a big personality, & I want to meet YOU!!! I'm about 2 years old & 60 lbs, I'm pretty sure I'm a full breed Husky, & you know what that means?!? ❗️FUN❗️I can be full of dramatic gestures, but I'm very attached to my people, I've been known to throw myself in front of you, roll on my back, & remind you I need belly scratches (I like to add 👋flair👋 where I can). I'm a playful guy who loves all kinds of toys, playing with my big doggy friends, & especially 💦water💦!! I already know a few basic commands, I ride really well in the car, & I've just graduated to being trusted to sleep where I want at night & I choose my crate with the door open. I get along great with other dogs & adore meeting new people. But NO CATS!! I lived in TX with a nice family, I did really well with their children & other dogs - but my fascination with the cats meant I had to find a new place to live. I got to hang out with some kids this weekend 4+ years old, & I was in heaven, I was so gentle & belly crawled to get on their level (after a few nose kisses). And I haven't had an accident in the house for over a week, I just need some time to get settled. I'm a super smart guy with a big sense of humor, I like to test you to see if you mean what you say, so I'll need strong leadership & would love to do more training so I can be the best boy ever!! Now that I've told you about me, please submit your application so we can meet & get started on the ❗️FUN❗️DATCP#483538

Story
Hey there! I'm Taz! I'm a young and handsome husky that was surrendered to the shelter with my sister Trixie because we weren't getting along with the cat in the home. We were then adopted out and returned not long after for being too hyperactive. That being said, I've found myself homeless again and am searching for my new forever home! I have lived with kids in the past, and I am very friendly with them, but I am a jumpy and mouthy boy sometimes, so I would do best in a home with older kids that are used to being around high-energy dogs. I love to go for walks and play in the yard with my sister and also enjoy getting pets and attention from time to time as well! I have A LOT of energy and really need a home with a land or a fenced-in yard preferably! I also will need some serious work on my manners when it comes to jumping and being mouthy. I have not really grown out of my puppy antics yet, so I could use some training for sure! Experienced dog owners are a must for me, and I will need lots of time and patience adjusting to home life again. My sister and I are not a bonded pair, but we love each other so, so much! We would love to go to place that is willing to have twice the fun and take us both home. If not, that's okay too! We have a tendency to team up on other dogs when we're together, so if we do go home together, it would need to be in a home that doesn't have other dogs in it already. If I am adopted separately, there may be a dog out there that I could share my home with given it is a good fit. Staff and volunteers give me as much love as they can here, but I would really love to have a home of my own again where I can run and play to my heart's content! Could that be with you? I would love to meet you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 77 Age: 1yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Twilight was bought from pet smart. She is 2 years old her birthday is on February 15. I'm hoping to find her a home where she can run around and let her energy out. She's very kind to kids she does like to play a little rough with large dogs. she is a natural born hunter. So, if you have a small pest problem or just birds in the yard she will try to get them.
