Story
5 years old (estimated) Spayed female 54 lbs. Has done well with other dogs Looking for a home without cats or small children Crate-trained and appears potty-trained Lina is a smart, playful, and affectionate girl who thrives with consistency and structure. She quickly builds trust when given a daily routine and, once comfortable, her goofy personality shines! She can be a bit jumpy in her excitement, so she’d do best in a home without small children. Lina is people-friendly and especially fond of men. She enjoys the company of other dogs but is too interested in cats to share a home with them. Crate-trained and likely housebroken, Lina is a quiet girl (especially for a Husky!) who rarely barks. She loves walks, car rides, and having space to run, so a secure yard is important—this clever girl has a history of escape attempts when bored! She’s also a chewer, so plenty of toys and bones will keep her entertained. With the right home, Lina will be a wonderful, devoted companion! Thanks to generous sponsors my adoption fee has already been paid! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.February 14, 2025, 10:35 pm

Story
Meet Kenai! Hey friends! My name is Kenai, and I'm am as handsome as they come! I'm a pretty special adult dog who needs someone in my life who will show me guidance and all the good things to do. I'm housetrained, but I'm not a fan of crates, but I'm not destructive if I need to be left alone. I'd really rather not be home by myself very often. I really attach myself to my person and love going everywhere with them, riding shotgun, of course! I'm good with other dogs, but since I love food so much, it's best that I'm fed by myself, but I've been working at being a good boy, and practicing not having to be in a different part of the house to eat. My style of play might be a little rough for smaller dogs, or since I think cats are really fun to chase, and shouldn't live with them, it might just be a small animal thing that I'm not a fan of. I love humans, but I don't think I should live with the little ones, as I'm a pretty strong, large 65 pound dog, and I would never want to knock them over or hurt them. I enjoy going on walks, but if I see a squirrel, walking is out of the question. Then we run! I'm normally pretty good with having slack in my leash, but sometimes I pull, and that's where a strong handler comes in. Actually, it's probably best if I have someone with husky experience. I can't be on a tie out, so I'll need to go for walks for potty breaks or have a very secured fenced-in yard. If you know huskies, you know that I'm everything great all rolled into one! I'm a talker, and needy (that classifies as great, right?), and obedient and active! I could stand to lose a few, or more, pounds to get myself to a healthy weight and make my joints happier in the long run, so I need someone who is active. We could go on hikes together, and I could help you train for that 5k you've been wanting to do! I'd love it if my new person works from home or I could go to work with them. Remember, I love humans and not fond of being left alone! I'm a really good boy, and trying to find my forever people at this point in life seems very daunting! Do you think you have what it takes to make me a happy guy for all the rest of my days? *Kenai is being fostered in the Janesville area. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Juliana! She will involve herself in all the family activities. True to her breed, she’s vocal, but unlike most huskies, she would prefer to stay inside when the weather is cold. Juliana is laughably clumsy, and she’s awkwardly cuddly, with many of the typical husky characteristics. Juliana is great with cats, female dogs, and non dominant male dogs as she wants to be in charge. Her clumsiness means she may unintentionally knock a small child right over. Juliana would love a home with a doggy friend to play with, hearty cats to groom, and a person who doesn’t mind 50 lb dog sitting in their lap. A survivor of parvo as a puppy, Juliana flew all the way from Kuwait to find a better life. She is up to date on vaccinations, tested heartworm negative, spayed, and had a dental. Her prior parvo infection has left her with a weird neurological tick of her rear leg and weaker enamel, so no hard chews for her. She is kennel trained and mostly potty trained, but does still have accidents.
